The Oil and Gas Conservation Act LEITCHVILLE SHAUNAVON POOL WATERFLOOD EXPANSION MRO 548/95. Pursuant to sections 17 and 17.1 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, the application submitted by Danoil Energy Ltd. to expand a waterflood project in the Leitchville Shaunavon Voluntary Unit is approved. Permission is granted to construct the facilities, and to recomplete the wells Suncor Leitchville , Bracell Leitchville , Sun Shaunavon and Suncor Leitchville as pressure maintenance water injection wells, in accordance with plans filed with Saskatchewan Energy and Mines as Document No. P.M. 161 and subject to the following conditions: 1 Installations shall be subject to the approval of a field representative of Saskatchewan Energy and Mines prior to commencement of water injection and subsequent to any modifications. 2 The wellhead injection pressure shall be limited to a maximum of kpa. 3 Annual progress reports shall be submitted to the Engineering Services Branch of Saskatchewan Energy and Mines. 4 The injection of water shall not commence until the project area has been unitized. Pursuant to section 17 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, the following provisions shall apply to the production from oil wells in the Epping Mannville Sands Pool, effective August 1, 1995: 1 The drainage units and target areas shall be in accordance with the pool provisions set out for the Epping Sparky Sand Pool and the Epping G.P. Pursuant to section 27 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, approval is granted to Sceptre Resources Limited to produce an off-target oil well located in legal subdivision 16 of Section W2M, subject to the following: 1 The maximum allowable rate of production shall be calculated without penalty. Pursuant to sections 17 and 17.1 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, approval is granted to Sceptre Resources Limited to recomplete the well Sceptre Battrum E as a pressure

5 AUGUST 11, maintenance water injection well, in accordance with plans and specifications filed with Saskatchewan Energy and Mines as Document No. P.M. 683 and subject to the conditions included in Minister s Approval MA 55/88, dated May 17, Dated at Regina, Saskatchewan, July 27, OTHER AREAS PRESSURE MAINTENANCE MRO 574/95. Pursuant to section 17.1 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, the application submitted by CS Resources Limited for disposing of salt water recovered from oilfield production by injection into the Bakken Sand through the well CS Chauvco Fusilier HZ 3D8-27-3D , is approved in accordance with plans and specifications filed with the Department as Document No. P.M. 981 and subject to the following: 1 Installations shall be subject to the approval of a field representative of the Department prior to the commencement of salt water injection and subsequent to any modifications to such installations. 2 The wellhead injection pressure shall be limited to a maximum of kilopascals. 3 All injection volumes shall be metered with a Department approved method. This approval does not authorize the applicant to dispose of salt water without the consent of all the mineral owners, other than the Crown, that might reasonably be adversely affected by such disposal. Dated at Regina, Saskatchewan, July 27, OTHER AREAS OFF-TARGET WELL MRO 575/95 A 199. Wascana Energy Inc. has submitted an application to drill an exploratory off-target well to verify seismic interpretation. Pursuant to section 27 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, permission is granted to drill an off-target well to produce from the Detrital formation located in legal subdivision 16 of Section W3M, subject to the following: 1 The net productive area used in calculating the maximum allowable rate of production shall be determined in accordance with subsection 30(1) of The Oil and Gas Conservation Regulations, Dated at Regina, Saskatchewan, July 25, WHITESIDE AREA OFF-TARGET WELL MRO 576/95 A 200. Wascana Energy Inc. has submitted an application to drill an exploratory off-target well to verify seismic interpretation. Pursuant to section 27 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, permission is granted to drill an off-target well to produce from the Bakken formation located in legal subdivision 16 of Section W3M, subject to the following: 1 The net productive area used in calculating the maximum allowable rate of production shall be determined in accordance with subsection 30(1) of The Oil and Gas Conservation Regulations, Dated at Regina, Saskatchewan, July 25, HAZELWOOD SOUTH TILSTON BEDS POOL HORIZONTAL WELL PROJECT EXPANSION MRO 577/95. Pursuant to section 17.1 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, approval is granted to Tri Link Resources Ltd. to drill and complete two horizontal wells in the Tilston Beds underlying Section W2M, in accordance with plans filed with Saskatchewan Energy and Mines as Document No. H.W. 311 and subject to the following: 1 Good production practice is approved. Dated at Regina, Saskatchewan, July 27, HEWARD FROBISHER BEDS POOL HORIZONTAL WELL PROJECT EXPANSION MRO 578/95. Pursuant to section 17.1 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, approval is granted to Mark Resources Inc. to drill and complete one horizontal well in the Frobisher Beds underlying the south-east quarter of Section W2M, in accordance with plans filed with Saskatchewan Energy and Mines as Document No. H.W. 283 and subject to the following: 1 A maximum allowable rate of production shall be assigned. Dated at Regina, Saskatchewan, July 27, VERENDRYE VIKING SAND POOL INFILL PROJECT MRO 579/95. Pursuant to sections 17 and 27 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, approval is granted to Ish Energy Ltd. to conduct an infill drilling project in a portion of the Verendrye Viking Sand Pool, in accordance with plans filed with Saskatchewan Energy and Mines and subject to the following: 1 The project area is comprised of the following lands lying west of the Third Meridian: in Township 28, in Range 22: Section 18; in Township 28, in Range 23: Section 3; the north half of Section 4; Sections 9 to 17; Sections 20, 21, 22; the south half and north-west quarter of Section 23; the south half of Section The drainage unit for each infill well shall resemble a square with an area of about 8.1 ha centered at the intersection of four legal subdivisions. The sides of the drainage unit shall be at an angle of about 45 from the legal subdivision boundaries, and the corners shall be centered on the road allowance, where present, and located at the mid-points of the legal subdivision boundaries which intersect in the drainage unit. 3 The target area shall be centered at the intersection of four legal subdivisions and shall be a 100 m square except for the following: (a) where a road allowance separates the legal subdivisions, the target area shall be a rectangle with sides of 100 m parallel to the road and 120 m perpendicular to the road allowance; the target area shall be centered on the road allowance and the extended boundaries between adjoining legal subdivisions; (b) where an intersection of road allowances separates four legal subdivisions, the target area shall be a square of 120 m centered on the intersection. 4 The surface locations of the wells shall not be within 35 m of a road allowance. 5 Infill wells shall not be drilled within 200 m of the project area boundary.
