MINISTER S ORDERS The Oil and Gas Conservation Act OTHER AREAS SALT WATER DISPOSALS MRO 1303/97. Pursuant to section 17.1 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, approval is granted to Renaissance Energy Ltd. to dispose of salt water recovered from oilfield production, by injection into the Duperow Formation through the well Renaissance Eyehill DD C , in accordance with plans filed with the Department as Document No. S.W.D. 606 and subject to the following: 1 Installations shall be subject to the approval of a field representative of the Department prior to the commencement of salt water injection and subsequent to any modifications to such installations. 2 The wellhead injection pressure shall be limited to a maximum of kilopascals (kpa). 3 All injection volumes shall be measured with a Department approved method. 4 An application to plugback must be applied for and approved through the Department field office prior to re-completing the above well for salt water disposal.

5 THE SAATCHEWAN GAZETTE, OCTOBER 31, This approval does not authorize the applicant to dispose of salt water without the consent of all the mineral owners, other than the Crown, that might reasonably be adversely affected by such disposal. MRO 1304/97. Pursuant to section 17.1 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, approval is granted to Richland Petroleum Corporation to dispose of salt water recovered from oilfield production, by injection into the Midale Beds through the well Richland Omega , in accordance with plans filed with the Department as Document No. S.W.D. 607 and subject to the following: 1 Installations shall be subject to the approval of a field representative of the Department prior to the commencement of salt water injection and subsequent to any modifications to such installations. 2 The wellhead injection pressure shall be limited to a maximum of kpa. 3 All injection volumes shall be measured with a Department approved method. 4 An application to plugback must be applied for and approved through the Department field office prior to re-completing the above well for salt water disposal. This approval does not authorize the applicant to dispose of salt water without the consent of all the mineral owners, other than the Crown, that might reasonably be adversely affected by such disposal. HAZELWOOD CENTRAL TILSTON BEDS POOL PRESSURE MAINTENANCE MRO 1305/97. Pursuant to section 17.1 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, approval is granted to Tri Link Resources Ltd. to dispose of salt water recovered from oilfield production, by injection into the Tilston-Souris Valley Beds through the well Tri Link et al Hazelwood W , in accordance with plans filed with the Department as Document No. P.M and subject to the following: 1 Installations shall be subject to the approval of a field representative of the Department prior to the commencement of salt water injection and subsequent to any modifications to such installations. 2 The wellhead injection pressure shall be limited to a maximum of kpa. 3 All injection volumes shall be measured with a Department approved method. 4 An application to plugback must be applied for and approved through the Department field office prior to re-completing the above well for salt water disposal. 5 The Tilston Beds shall be the reporting zone for all injected salt water. This approval does not authorize the applicant to dispose of salt water without the consent of all the mineral owners, other than the Crown, that might reasonably be adversely affected by such disposal. OTHER AREAS SALT WATER DISPOSALS MRO 1306/97. Pursuant to section 17.1 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, MRO 555/93, dated September 3, 1993, is rescinded and approval is granted to Murphy Oil Company Ltd. to dispose of salt water recovered from oilfield production, by injection into the Birdbear and Duperow Formations through the well Murphy Cactus LK N 7A , in accordance with plans filed with the Department as Document No. S.W.D. 608 and subject to the following: 1 Installations shall be subject to the approval of a field representative of the Department prior to the commencement of salt water injection and subsequent to any modifications to such installations. 2 The wellhead injection pressure shall be limited to a maximum of kpa. 3 All injection volumes shall be measured with a Department approved method. 4 An application to plugback must be applied for and approved through the Department field office prior to re-completing the above well for salt water disposal. 5 The injection packer shall be set within five m of the disposal perforations. This approval does not authorize the applicant to dispose of salt water without the consent of all the mineral owners, other than the Crown, that might reasonably be adversely affected by such disposal. MRO 1307/97. Pursuant to section 17.1 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, approval is granted to Murphy Oil Company Ltd. to dispose of salt water recovered from oilfield production, by injection into the Birdbear and Duperow Formations through the proposed well located on legal subdivision 7 of Section W3M, in accordance with plans filed with the Department as Document No. S.W.D. 609 and subject to the following: 1 Installations shall be subject to the approval of a field representative of the Department prior to the commencement of salt water injection and subsequent to any modifications to such installations. 2 The wellhead injection pressure shall be limited to a maximum of kpa. 3 All injection volumes shall be measured with a Department approved method. 4 The injection packer shall be set within five m of the disposal perforations. This approval does not authorize the applicant to dispose of salt water without the consent of all the mineral owners, other than the Crown, that might reasonably be adversely affected by such disposal. OTHER AREAS OFF-TARGET WELLS MRO 1312/97 A 537. Tri Link Resources Ltd. has submitted an application to drill an off-target well due to surface obstruction within the target area. Pursuant to section 27 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, permission is granted to drill an off-target well to produce from the Tilston Beds located in legal subdivision 8 of Section W2M, subject to the following: 1 If, after issuing a Public Notice in The Saskatchewan Gazette, no objections are received, the maximum allowable rate of production will be calculated without penalty. Dated at Regina, Saskatchewan, October 10, MRO 1313/97 A 538. Renaissance Energy Ltd. has submitted an application to drill an exploratory off-target well to verify seismic interpretation. Pursuant to section 27 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act and subsection 30(2) of The Oil and Gas Conservation Regulations, 1985, permission is granted to drill an off-target well to produce from the Red Jacket Formation located in legal subdivision 16 of Section W1M, subject to the following: 1 The maximum allowable rate of production will be calculated without penalty. Dated at Regina, Saskatchewan, October 8, MRO 1315/97 A 539. Pursuant to sections 17 and 27 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act and subsection 30(2) of The Oil and Gas Conservation Regulations, 1985, approval is granted to Canadian Occidental Petroleum Ltd. to drill an off-target oil well located at C W3M, subject to the following: 1 Good production practice is approved.

Pursuant to section 27 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, approval is granted to Canadian Occidental Petroleum Ltd. to drill an off-target oil well located at D W3M, subject to the following: 1 Good production practice is approved. INGOLDSBY FROBISHER-ALIDA BEDS POOL HORIZONTAL WELL PROJECT EXPANSION MRO 1317/97. Pursuant to section 17.1 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, approval is granted to BriAlto Energy Corporation to drill and complete one horizontal well in the Frobisher-Alida Beds underlying the south half of Section W1M, in accordance with plans filed with Saskatchewan Energy and Mines as Document No. H.W. 68 and subject to the following: 1 Good production practice is approved. MANTARIO EAST BASAL MANNVILLE SAND POOL WATERFLOOD MODIFICATION MRO 1318/97. Pursuant to section 17.1 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, approval is granted to Crestar Energy to convert the C W3M well as a pressure maintenance water injection well in the Mantario East Basal Mannville Voluntary Unit No. 1, in accordance with plans filed with Saskatchewan Energy and Mines as Document No. P.M and subject to the conditions included in MRO 1069/96, dated October 31, ELMORE FROBISHER BEDS POOL WATERFLOOD MODIFICATION MRO 1319/97. Pursuant to section 17.1 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, approval is granted to Startech Energy Inc. to modify a waterflood project in the Elmore Frobisher Beds Voluntary Unit No. 1. Permission is granted to construct the facilities and to recomplete the W1M well as a pressure maintenance water injection well, in accordance with plans filed with Saskatchewan Energy and Mines as Document No. P.M PENNANT UPPER SHAUNAVON POOL WATERFLOOD MODIFICATION MRO 1320/97. Pursuant to section 17.1 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, approval is granted to Renaissance Energy Ltd. to modify a waterflood project in the Pennant Upper Shaunavon Voluntary Unit. Permission is granted to construct the facilities and to recomplete the W3M and W3M wells as pressure maintenance water injection wells, in accordance with plans filed with Saskatchewan Energy and Mines as Document No. P.M. 682 and subject to the conditions included in Minister s Approval MA 54/88, dated May 19, INGOLDSBY FROBISHER-ALIDA BEDS POOL HORIZONTAL WELL PROJECT EXPANSION MRO 1321/97.
