In accordance with Board Policy and Regulation #5111, Eligibility of Resident/Nonresident Pupils, tuition will be waived for foreign exchange students on a J-a or F-a Visa. D. IMPACT Program The Board approves IMPACT (Immediate Post-Concussion Assessment and Cognitive Testing) Program. The program cost is $650.00; cost to administer the program is $1,300.00; total cost is $1, E. Uniform State Memorandum of Agreement (Attachment #2.E) The Board approves the Uniform State Memorandum of Agreement between the Ocean City School District and the Ocean City Police Department. F. Field Trip Request List (Attachment #2.F) (Ocean City Representatives Only) The Board approves the attached Intermediate School Field Trip list. G. Field Trip Request List (Attachment #2.G) (Ocean City Representatives Only) The Board approves the attached Primary School Field Trip list. Secretary and Treasurer Reports (Attachment #3.B) The Board approves the Board Secretary s Monthly Financial Report and the Treasurer of School Funds Report for June C. Line Item Transfers (Attachment #3.C) The Board approves the revenue and appropriation transfers for June The Board also acknowledges receipt of the State of NJ mandated transfer reconciliation form for June D. Travel & Expense Reimbursement (Attachment #3.D) The Board approves the August 2010 list of Board of Education Members and School District Staff travel and related expense reimbursements. E. Inter-local Agreement with Upper Township Attachment #3.E) The Board approves an Inter-local Agreement with the Upper Township Board of Education for a Speech Therapist, 3 days a week at the cost of 60% of Upper Township salary - $31, and 60% of Upper Township benefits - $9, effective September 1, 2010 through June 30, F. Bid Award Trash Bag Liners (Attachment #3.F) The Board awards the School District share of the joint city/school bid for trash bag liners to Interboro Packaging at the prices on the attached spreadsheet. The City of Ocean City was the lead agency for this bid. G. Bid Award Custodial Supplies Attachment #3.G) The Board awards the School District share of the joint city/school bid for custodial supplies to the vendors identified with the lowest per unit prices on the attached spreadsheet on a per unit basis. The City of Ocean City was the lead agency for this bid. H. Bid Award Student Transportation Services The Business Administrator advertised for bids for the transportation routes HMCH and LNWD. At the bid opening held on August 17, 2010, the following bid was received and awarded to First Student, Inc.: Route Route Increase/Decrease Per Diem/Per Aide Number Cost Adjustment Cost Cost (if applicable) HMCH $ $1.00 N/A LNWD $ $1.00 N/A I. Renewal of Transportation Contract The Board approves the student transportation contract renewal for the school year with Sheppard Bus Service, Inc. in the amount of $44,460 for students transported to Cape May County Technical School on Route No. CMCTECH. Renewal of Transportation Contract The Board approves the student transportation contract renewal for the school year with Apple Transportation LLC in the amount of $18,000 for one student transported to/from Ocean City High School on Route No. SSS2. K. Joint Transportation Agreement The Board approves the Joint Transportation Agreement with Cape May County Special Services. Cape May County Special Services (host) will transport one Ocean City (joiner) student to Cape May County Special Services School District on Route No. CM36M4 starting September 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011, at a joiner cost of $9,000. L. Tuition Paying Students The Board accepts two parent paid tuition students at the High School for the school year, with pupil cost (tuition) being charged for the school year at the established tuition rate. M. Tuition Paying Student (Ocean City Representatives Only) The Board accepts one tuition paying student at the Intermediate School for the school year, with pupil cost (tuition) being charged for the school year at the established tuition rate.
