1 Article, Subject, and Author Index 2011 of the Journal of Criminal Justice and Security Nataša Knap, Jerneja Šifrer The remit of the Journal of Criminal Justice and Security is to participate in contemporary criminal justice research relating to the examination and development of theory, structure, process, cause and consequence of societal responses to crime and criminality, and other security issues. While it incorporates the social and behavioral aspects of criminology, criminal justice is a much broader field of study because it is interdisciplinary in nature, covering the study of policing, prosecution, courts, prisons and other correctional and supervisory institutions, and security provision in contemporary society. Articles in the Journal of Criminal Justice and Security are abstracted in CSA Worldwide Political Science Abstracts, CSA Sociological Abstracts and Criminal Justice Abstracts. Journal of Criminal Justice and Security is published quarterly (in March, June, September, and December).
