This portion of the audit will be completed by the State Auditor General s Office for FY 16 and as a result, Moore Stephens and Lovelace (MSL) has reduced their fee accordingly. CONTRACT TERM: March 12, 2014 thru December 31, 2017 RECOMMENDATION: It is the recommendation of the School Board s Audit Committee that it is in the best interest of the District to utilize Moore Stephens Lovelace, P.A. to provide External Independent Auditing Services for the year currently scheduled for the Auditor General at a not to exceed amount of $90,000. 2 The School Board of Brevard County, Florida First Amendment to Agreement Contract # RFP #14-P-025-CO A1 Approval Date: THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT ( First Amendment ) is by and between The School Board of Brevard County, Florida, (hereinafter School Board ), whose address is 2700 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Viera, Florida 32940, and Moore Stephen and Lovelace, PA, (hereinafter Contractor ), whose address is 255 South Orange Avenue, Suite 600, Orlando, Florida WHEREAS, School Board and Contractor entered into that certain Agreement for External Independent Auditing Services dated March 11, 2014; and WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend that Agreement with this document. NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto amend the Agreement as follows: 1. The Recitals in the WHEREAS clauses are incorporated by reference and made a part of this Agreement. 2. Shall incorporate Exhibit B, the Letter of Engagement Dated February 17, Section 5. June 30, 2016 Fees shall be amended not to exceed amount of $90,000 (Auditor General Scheduled) 4. Except as herein expressly modified, the Agreement for External Independent Auditing Services dated March 11, 2014, shall otherwise remain in full force and effect, subject to all terms and conditions therein.
