Only as recently as 2013 was there an effort to ascertain COPD prevalence rates for all 50 states when new data was published as a result of CDC s Behavior Risk Surveillance Survey. Despite that fact, the Louisiana Women s Caucus, founded in 1986, is well-maintained and thriving due to a clear mission, personnel support, and great leadership.
