MINUTES OF APPROVED RESOLUTION 4923 re: a Resolution authorizing the renewal ofthe Memorandum RES ofunderstanding with Cuyahoga Soil & Water Conservation District and the NEORSD for RENEW MOU technical assistance in implementing the Soil & Water Conservation Measures for 2019; and FOR declaring an emergency, was read by title. CUYAHOGA Motion by Rose, seconded by Veras, to suspend the rules and place Resolution 4923 SOIL & WATER PUBLIC INFORM. PUBLIC ED Motion by Redinger, seconded by Carouse, to pass Resolution PROGRAM RESOLUTION 4924 re: a Resolution authorizing the sale ofpersonal property no RES longer needed for Municipal Purposes by internet auction in accordance with Section AUTHORIZE ofthe Ohio Revised Code.; and declaring an emergency, was read by title. INTERNET Motion by Veras, seconded by Rose, to suspend the rules and place Resolution 4924 AUCTION on third and fmal reading. Motion by Redinger, seconded by Carouse, to pass Resolution 4924.

GRANT Awareness Grant in the amount of$5,000.00; and declaring an emergency, was read by title. APPLICATION Motion by Rose, seconded by Veras, to suspend the rules and place Resolution 4925 FROM CUY. SOLID WASTE DISTRICT Motion by Redinger, seconded by Carouse, to pass Resolution RESOLUTION 4926 re: a Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a RES Subdivision Agreement and an Escrow Agreement with Petros Homes Snowville, LLC for SUBDIV. & The Village of Brecksville Subdivision Phase II; and declaring an emergency, was read by ESCROW title. AGREEMENT Motion by Rose, seconded by Veras, to suspend the rules and place Resolution 4926 WITH PETROS HOMES SNOWVILLE LLC FOR THE. VILLAGE OF Motion by Redinger, seconded by Carouse, to pass Resolution BRECKS. PHASE II ORDINANCE 5221 re: an Ordinance authorizing the purchase ofcisco Network ORD.5221 Gear from Black Box Network Services through the State of Ohio Administrative Services CISCO Purchasing Program; and declaring an emergency, was read by title. NETWORK Motion by Veras, seconded by Rose, to suspend the rules and place Ordinance 5221 GEAR THROUGH OHIO ADMINIS- TRATIVE Motion by Redinger, seconded by Carouse, to pass Ordinance SERVICES PURCH. PROGRAM ORDINANCE 5222 re: an Ordinance authorizing the purchase oftires, tubes and ORD related services through December 31, 2019 from the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company; AUTH. PURCH and declaring an emergency, was read by title. OF TIRES, Motion by Rose, seconded by Veras, to suspend the rules and place Ordinance 5222 TUBES & RELATED SERVICES FROM GOODYEAR Motion by Redinger, seconded by Carouse, to pass Ordinance TIRE & RUBBER CO.

ASSESSMENT Motion by Veras, seconded by Rose, to suspend the rules and place Ordinance 5223 FOR PP# FOR Ayes: Carouse,_ Harwood, Petsche, Redinger, Rose, Veras. RAZING OF UNSAFE STRUCTURE Motion by Redinger, seconded by Carouse, to pass Ordinance ORDINANCE 5224 re: an Ordinance amending Section (b) of the ORD.5224 Administrative Code to update the Mayor's compensation; and declaring an emergency, was ORDINANCE read by title. AMENDING Motion by Rose, seconded by Veras, to suspend the rules and place Ordinance 5224 SEC (b) UPDATING MAYOR'S COMPENSA- TION Motion by Redinger, seconded by Carouse, to pass Ordinance Motion by Harwood, seconded by Carouse to amend the agenda to add a request for AMEND a liquor license. AGENDA TO INCLUDE ODLC REQUEST OHIO DIVISION OF LIQUOR CONTROL: Councilmember Harwood asked if OHIO DIV OF any members ofcouncil had an objection to a liquor license for the Water Falls Brew House LIQUOR and Restaurant LLC located at 8934 Brecksville Road, Brecksville, Ohio Hearing no CONTROL objections Council President Harwood authorized Council Clerk Tabor to notify the Ohio 8934 BRECKS Department ofliquor Control that Brecksville City Council has no objections. A hearing is VILLE RD. not necessary for the permit issuance. BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS: Councilmember Rose reported the next meeting BD. OF ofthe Board ofzoning Appeals will be Monday, February 11th at 7:30 P.M. Councilmember ZONING Roses reported he was elected as Chairman, Kathy Roberts as Vice Chair and Bruce APPEALS McCrodden as Secretary. There is one variance referred for Council consideration. Motion by Rose, seconded by Veras, to accept the Board of Zoning Appeals VAR recommendation ofapproval for (1) a variance from Section (a) maximum roofarea 5304 VALLEY over 30 ft. is limited to 10% ofground floor, to allow 39%. PKWY. CHIMNEY FLUE MATERIAL PLANNING COMMISSION: Councilmember Harwood reported the next meeting PLANNING ofthe Planning Commission will be January 24 th at 7:00 P.M. Kirk Roman was elected as COMMISSION Chairman, Dominic Sciria as Vice Chairman and Eric Lahrmer was elected as Secretary. The Planning Commission has one item for Council consideration today.

Snowville Road, Brecksville Ohio, 44141, for Verizon in the ANTENNA application dated December 12, 2018, as described on the attached drawings by Harper CHANGES TO Engineering Inc. dated November 9, 2018 and Structural Analysis Report by Pier Structural TOWER AT Engineering Corp. dated November 19,2018, contingent on the approval by City Council 6896 W. and structural review approval. COMMISSION DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES: Council Representative Veras DEPT. OF reported the next meeting of the Human Services Advisory Board will be February 13 th at HUMAN 3:00 P.M. TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION: Council President Harwood, on TELEC. COM. behalfofcouncilmember Broski, has no repolt. SAFETY-SERVICE COMMITTEE: Councilmember Carouse reported the SAFETYcommittee met earlier today and thanked Council for the passage of legislation authorizing SERVICE the purchase of Tires through Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company through The Committee has three additional items for Council consideration. Motion by Carouse, seconded by Redinger to approve a purchase requisition to Mattes SUPPLEMEN Landscaping in the amount of $20, for Supplementary Snowplowing for the 2019 TARY SNOW snow season. This includes plowing/icing various parking lots and sidewalks. Account PLOWING # FOR 2019 SNOW SEASON Motion by Carouse, seconded by Redinger to approve a pricing amendment from PETROLEUM Petroleum Traders on Extension of Agreement No for our 2019 purchases of TRADERS Unleaded 87. The new pricing differential would be added to the Cleveland, OH AGREEMENT OPIS daily contract average for gasoline. The amended pricing equates to an additional EXTENSION.016/per gallon. Motion by Rose, seconded by Redinger to approve Change Order No.5 for the S.R. SR Pavement Improvement Project that accounts for quantities and decreases the contact PAVEMENT value by $80, IMP. PROJECT CHANGE ORDER NO.5 MOTION CARRIED 5-AYES, I-ABSTAIN, O-NAYS. Motion by Rose, seconded by Redinger to approve Change Order No.6 for the S.R. UTILITIES COMMITTEE: Councilmember Petsche reported the committee met UTILITIES earlier and thanked Council for passage of a Subdivision Agreement & Escrow Agreement COMMITTEE with Petros Homes Snowville, LLC. For the Village ofbrecksville Subdivision Phase II. BUILDINGS & GROUNDS COMMITTEE: Councilmember Veras reported the BUILDINGS & Buildings & Grounds Committee met earlier this evening and thanked Council for the GROUNDS passage ofan Ordinance for the purchase ofit network gear for the new Police Station. COMMITTEE LEGISLATION COMMITTEE: Councilmember Rose said the Committee met LEGISLATION earlier this evening and discussed the Solar Panel Regulation recommendation that should COMMITTEE be received by the committee from the Planning Commission prior to the February meetings. FINANCE COMMITTEE: Councilmember Redinger thanked Council for the FINANCE passage of the legislation presented this evening. 7 Page 7 REPORT OF THE MAYOR: Mayor Hruby reported there will be a public meeting MAYOR on January 21 st to inform residents ofthe agreement between the School District and the City as well as discuss the possible future uses ofthe Central School. Another public meeting will be held to discuss the partnership between the School District and the City ofbrecksville as it relates to the new Elementary School and Field House that will be built on the Blossom Hill Property. Mayor Hruby reported that Democracy Day will be held on February 26 th at 7:00 P.M. in the Gathering Room ofthe Human Services Building. Property Tax bills have been sent and Mayor Hruby said of the 80 Cuyahoga County Communities, the City of Brecksville is one of the lower taxing districts, only 17 communities have a lower taxing rate than Brecksville.
