Pacific Bell Telephone Company is doing business as SBC Pacific Bell Telephone Company, SBC California and ("Pacific Bell Telephone Company d/b/a SBC Pacific Bell Telephone Company d/b/a SBC California and d/b/a "). This schedule contains a general statement relative to the filing of rates and regulations, the territory served and service rendered and the availability of tariff sheets applicable to the provision of local exchange service, IntraLATA, High Speed Digital and Remote Local Area Network (LAN) Telecommunications Services by Pacific Bell. Pacific Bell has been granted authority by the Public Utilities Commission of the State of California to provide facilities-based and resold local exchange service, IntraLATA High Speed Digital and Remote Local Area Network (LAN) Telecommunications Services within portions of California served by Verizon, Citizens Telephone Company of California, and Roseville Telephone Company APPLICABILITY Applicable to local exchange service, IntraLATA, High Speed Digital and Remote Local Area Network (LAN) Telecommunications Services furnished by Pacific Bell over facilities wholly within the State of California. While the tariff sheets act as a contract for local exchange service, IntraLATA, High Speed Digital and Remote Local Area Network (LAN) Telecommunications Services, the Customer and/or the Utility may nonetheless desire to execute a written agreement for the provision of such services. This tariff does not prohibit Customer and Utility from executing such agreements; as long as such agreements do not have terms and conditions inconsistent with this tariff FILING OF RATES AND REGULATIONS These schedules have been regularly filed with the Public Utilities Commission of the State of California, and are effective regulations of Pacific Bell for the provision of facilities-based and resold local exchange service, intralata, High Speed Digital and Remote Local Area Network (LAN) Telecommunications Services within Verizon, Citizens, and Roseville territory. No officer, employee or agent of the Utility has any authority to arbitrarily waive, alter or amend in any respect these regulations, or any part thereof, or to make any agreements inconsistent therewith.
