Congratulations to all the award winners for their hard work on putting those titles on their furry friends. Good meeting, lots of things coming up this year. Judges were selected and went a lot quicker with the new way of nominating them. New members were added, two new board members voted in, and dates for B-match and judges were decided. Lots to take care of in the upcoming year. A special thank you to Les and Betty Barkley for opening their home for our meeting. First is the Sportsman Show and as it will have passed when this newsletter gets out, I hope we had more volunteers step up as we were a bit short on filling all our slots. We have the B-match coming in May followed by the WC, Hunt Test and our Specialty. There will be more detailed information coming on all events, and more importantly, we need your help to run these events successfully. Please think about volunteering in some way. It doesn t have to be on a grand scale; everything helps! Next meeting is at Elmers on February 17 at Delta Park at 7:00pm. Report available upon request Volunteers needed for the shifts. Tickets provided but you still have to pay for parking. Judges were selected for this year s match and 2018 s specialty. To be held at Judy Chambers s home on the 20th of May. Susan Huntzinger will organize the match but Cindy Freeman and Barb Gilchrest will run the B-Match on the day. To be held on June 3rd on Sauvie Island. Morning of the WC we will have an equipment training session so members are more comfortable volunteering for the hunt test. Chair is Adrienne Harding; Sandy Whitman will co-chair. Cindy Freeman is the secretary. They would like to hold a single Master test and a double Junior test. Judy Chambers makes a motion to hold a single master series and double junior series. Susan Huntzinger seconded. All approved. Need to send clarifying letters to judges specifying the day to which they were assigned. Raffle items appreciated; contact Marilyn Parker with donations. Judy Chambers made a motion and CIndy Freeman and all approved to review the awards procedures. We thank Tamaria Hartman & Julie Marquis for their service on the board and welcome Udo Stark & Denise Whitford. We look forward to hearing their ideas. Allisa West of Eugene, OR. OFA hip certification for the sire and dam 2. OFA elbow certification for the sire and dam 3. Current (12 months) eye clearance (CERF) for sire and dam 4. A check for $10.00, made out to RCLRC 5. Contact information for the listing. This may contain one or more of: a persons name, address, telephone number, and kennel name. 6. The choice of web listing, newsletter listing or both. The member may include additional documentation for certifications such as cardiac or EIC. All certifications claimed must be documented. Litter listings will run two months. The member may request one additional month via . At the end of the run-period the listing will be removed without notice. Information must be sent to Greg Huntzinger who will then pass the infromation onto the newsletter editor. Due date is the 25th of each month. Please give your information time to arrive. Contributions for publication and advertisements are welcome. Advertising rates are $25.00 per half page and $50.00 per whole page.
