4 Membership Recruitment Live for 25! Chapters are recognized for increasing their membership by at least 25%! Help us increase Georgia FCCLA s membership and reach our state goal of 25,000 members!

5 Membership Recruitment Go for the Red Awards National FCCLA Individual Awards Individual members have the opportunity to be awarded for recruiting 3 or more members to FCCLA. Individual receives a special Go for the Red t-shirt. Chapter Awards Chapters will be awarded Bronze, Silver, or Gold status for increasing by 10, 15, or 20 members. Chapters receive an FCCLA banner to showcase their achievement. Bronze level increased membership by 10 members Silver level increased membership by 15 members Gold level increased membership by 20 members Apply on the National FCCLA website by April 1 st.

6 Scholarship Information Georgia FCCLA Apply for Georgia FCCLA Scholarships! Eight scholarships available Applications due January 31 st GPA requirement no less than 85 (unweighted) Minimum of 2 years of membership Scholarships are contingent upon an applicant s acceptance letter

Late registration is available for 48 hours after the post regular registration deadline Please be aware that some regular deadlines end on Friday at midnight; therefore, late registration ends Sunday at midnight Please read each Adviser Guide carefully to see what options are available during the late registration grace period

15 State Leadership Conference Major Changes In keeping with all guidelines and standards of National FCCLA, the following will be enforced for Region STAR Event competitions (unless costumes are allowed) and State Leadership Conference: Members: Professional white or black shirt Neckwear options can include the neckwear from the official emblematic supplier, black or red tie, black or red bow tie, single strand of pearls, red black, and/or white scarf, or no neckwear Black bottoms (slacks, skirt, sheath dress...skirt and dress may be no more than 2 inches above the knee) Shoes, black preferred Red jacket is strongly encouraged, not required Jeans, t-shirts, athletic wear are NOT acceptable

17 State Leadership Conference Major Changes State Events will be offered on two days Saturday, March 16: Baking & Pastry Chicken Fabrication Creative Showpiece Knife Skills

18 State Leadership Conference Major Changes Hotel Reservations: Now will be made in the conference registration system You won t be able to submit your registration until all participants are placed in a hotel room The registration system will create two invoices: One for State Leadership Conference registration send payment to Georgia FCCLA One for hotel rooms send payment to Sheraton Atlanta

19 State Leadership Conference Major Changes Hotel Reservations: Once registration closes, Georgia FCCLA will export the information and send it to the hotel Different room types available you must have at least three people in a double bedded room Utilize the step-by-step tutorial at the end of the SLC Adviser Guide.

21 State Leadership Conference Major Changes Multiple Release Forms Option to scan and submit before you arrive Wufoo form added to state website and Adviser Guide If not submitted before hand: You will need to bring them to registration Someone will scan them onsite Could prolong your registration process Say Yes to FCS Event and workshops available on Saturday for all participants

Included in the package deal Can be added separately (if doing regular registration) Regular and vegetarian options only The hotel will have reduced price options (concession style) during main meal times
