2 REGISTRATION INFORMATION EUROANAESTHESIA 2017 The registration fee for FULL PARTICIPANTS includes: Admission to all scientific and educational sessions of the congress Access to the industrial exhibition area One Congress bag containing the Final Programme Access to the inaugural ceremony, welcome reception & coffee breaks are complimentary The above documents, Congress bag and badge will be available in the preregistration area upon arrival for all delegates who have received a bar coded registration confirmation issued by the ESA Secretariat. This must be presented upon arrival at the pre-registered delegates scanning area. WORKSHOPS, SYMPOSIA & REFRESHER COURSES The majority of workshops, symposia and refresher courses are included in the registration fee for delegates of the Congress. For certain sessions an additional registration fee is applicable. Online registration is required for these sessions. CME ACCREDITATION Accreditation for the Euroanaesthesia 2017 Congress will be requested to the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME - Institution of the UEMS). Delegates can exchange their EACCME credits into National CME credits in their home country. Physicians may have their EACCME credits converted to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit by applying to the American Medical Association at CONGRESS LANGUAGE All sessions of the Scientific Programme are exclusively in English. PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILMING Professional photography and video production will be taking place at Euroanaesthesia and these images may be used on future promotional materials for ESA events. Please note that by attending the event, you are giving your consent for your image to be used on any ESA material and publications in the future. 2 Page

3 REGISTRATION FEES & RATE APPLICATION There will be two rates: Early Bird registration: until 22 February 2017 Please note that the early bird registration changes automatically on 22 February 2017 at midnight (23:59 CET). Pre-registration fee: 23 February May 2017 Please note that pre-registration closes automatically on 15 May 2017 at midnight (23:59 CET). On-site registration will open on Friday 02 June 2017 in the PalExpo Geneva, Switzerland at OPENING HOURS ON-SITE REGISTRATION Friday, June 02, 2017: Saturday, June 03, 2017: Sunday, June 04, 2017: Monday, June 05, 2017: Registration fees are calculated according to the rate class (member or non-member) and the applicable rate (Early Bird or Pre-registration) which is defined by the online registration date. Registrations submitted with companies or travel agencies contact details will not be processed until the delegates details are provided. Registration fees incl. Please note the conditions to benefit from the reduced fee: New and current ESA members need to apply and pay their membership fee for 2017 by 31 January ESA Membership fees are non-refundable. ESA Membership runs from January to December each year. Reduced Registration fees are also applicable for delegates from reduced fee countries. (please visit the ESA website for the list of countries applicable for the reduced fees) Registration fees incl. 5 PAYMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS ONLINE REGISTRATION to Euroanaesthesia 2017 will be available soon. Registration fees are payable in EURO only. Payment for online registration is by debit card, credit card payment (American Express / MasterCard / VISA), and PayPal. This is a secure system, so you need not be concerned about giving your credit card details. We use the same security system that is used if you book an airline ticket, hotel, or shop online. CANCELLATIONS Registration cancellations and requests for refund of the registration fee for Euroanaesthesia Congress must be received in writing at the ESA Secretariat no later than Monday, 15 May Beyond this period, refunds for cancellation are not applicable. Cancellations due to VISA application refusal /delay are non-refundable. If the congress has to be cancelled due to any epidemic or natural disaster known before 30 November 2016 no refund can be given, as our insurance does not cover those risks. REFUNDS Eligible refunds, 25% administration fee, are transacted after the Congress. NAME CHANGES Name changes are not possible. New registration and payment is required. LOST BADGE POLICY Replacement badges are charged at 100 euros per day, refundable if you find your lost badge later. PASSPORT / VISA / Invitation Letter Each delegate is responsible for having a valid passport for entry into Switzerland. Participants requiring a VISA for entry into the Switzerland are advised to submit their application in their home country at least two months prior to the intended date of travel. Please check with the Switzerland Embassy in your country to determine if a VISA is required. Delegates requiring an Invitation letter in order to obtain a VISA will receive this automatically together with their registration confirmation. The letter of invitation does not cover registration fees or any related expenses and is considered a formality to facilitate the process of obtaining a VISA for entry into Switzerland. 5 Page

7 DIFFERENT REGISTRATIONS ON-SITE REGISTRATION / ONE-DAY TICKETS Full registration is possible on-site, using our self-service registration facility. However, to avoid paying a higher rate, pre-registration is strongly recommended. One-day registration will also be available at the Congress Centre only on the day of attendance. GROUP REGISTRATION Companies or travel agencies can make GROUP REGISTRATIONS for 10 participants or more. For group registrations, the non-member registration rate will be applicable, irrespective of the delegate s membership status.
