1 )' " ( ) " ( Summary of the project In we conducted an experiment at the IDC lab in Herzliya, headed by Prof. Eran Halperin. The participants were 415 people, 59% of whom were rightists. We showed the participants short videos that conveyed the message of our attachment to the conflict, which is a part of the Israeli DNA. Our results showed 30% of the rightists had changed their approach in favor of peace. In October 2015 we finished an experimental project at the town of (around 25,000 residents), which was conducted in September and part of October. Unfortunately, the Knife Intifada had begun on the same week as the project, and the municipality also prevented our progress by tearing down our billboards (we appealed both the district court and later the Supreme Court and won on June ). When one conducts a scientific project, one must test a control group which isn t exposed to the project but is affected by external events. We conducted surveys before, during and after the project with hundreds of participants, both in and the control At the end of the project we checked the surveys and saw the following: Please note that there are 6 groups: 3 research groups, and 3 control groups. The groups are divided to: 1. Center-left, 2. Right, 3. Extreme right.

5 G. If a peaceful period of 10 years will be guaranteed, a maritime harbor and an airport should be built within the Palestinian Authority. The rightists group had a % increase compared to the control +20% % Now we know with absolute certainty, that our approach (paradoxical intervention) can change the right-wing opinions. 5 What is our secret? 1. We do not lecture the right, we don t call the occupation immoral or say it s the reason for terrorism, we don t claim that there should be peace, because that is what the Israeli left has been doing for almost 50 years and the right had shut their ears. We don t care who is in power, as long as the people will drive the leadership to achieve peace. 2. The bigger the paradox surprisingly with the maximalist conflict supporters there s a self-doubt regarding the self-identity and a transformation from short to long-term thinking gives them food for renewed thought and affects them, even behaviorally.
