3 294 Gambling Betting Act (5/1997)(Eastern Cape)(as amended): Notice of lodgement of various applications for amendment of terms conditions of licence, transfer of licence to another person, removal of business to other premises, acquisition of financial interest, gambling machine site licences in terms of the Act 3964 PROVINSIALE KOERANT, BUITENGEWOON, 4 DESEMBER 2017 No Provincial Notices Provinsiale Kennisgewings PROVINCIAL NOTICE 294 OF 2017 eastern cape GAMBLING & BETTING BOARD NOTICE OF LODGEMENT OF VARIOUS APPLICATIONS FOR AMENDMENT OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF LICENCE, TRANSFER OF LICENCE TO ANOTHER PERSON, REMOVAL OF BUSINESS TO OTHER PREMISES, ACQUISITION OF FINANCIAL INTEREST, AND GAMBLING MACHINE SITE LICENCES, IN TERMS OF THE GAMBLING AND BETTING ACT, 1997 (ACT NO. 5 OF 1997) (EASTERN CAPE) (as amended) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that various applications for amendment of Terms Conditions of Licence, transfer of licence to another person, removal of business to other premises, acquisition of financial interest gambling machine site licences in terms of sections 35, 36, 37, 40 50, read with section 49(4) respectively, of the Gambling Betting Act, 1997 (Act No. 5 of 1997) (Eastern Cape) (as amended), particulars of which are set out in the Schedules hereunder, have been lodged with the Eastern Cape Gambling Betting Board. The applications may be inspected by any person at the offices of the Eastern Cape Gambling Betting Board, ECGBB Building, Quenera Park, Quenera Drive, Beacon Bay, East London at the respective Municipalities within which the premises are located as shown in the schedules hereunder. Any objections, petitions or representations shall be lodged with the Chief Executive Officer of the Board within one (1) month of the date of this notice, commencing on 04 December 2017 until 03 January All objections comments shall specify: the application to which the objection or comment relates; the grounds on which the objection is founded; in the case of comment; full particulars or facts in substantiation thereof: the name, address, telephone fax number of the objector or person making the comment a statement whether the objector or person making the comment wishes to make oral representations when the application is heard. A person lodging representations may show cause why the Board may determine that his or her identity should not be divulged. The under-mentioned figures used in brackets in Schedules have the following meanings: (1) = The name address of the applicant; (2) = If the applicant is a company or other corporate body, the names of all persons who have a financial or other interest of 5% or more in the applicant; (3) = In the case of a company the initials surnames of all directors of the company; (4) = The type of application applied for; (5) = The address of the premises from which the applicant intends to operate from.
