3 84 National Land Transport Act (5/2009): Notice in terms of section 91 of the Act 1977 PROVINSIALE KOERANT, BUITENGEWOON, 20 JULIE 2018 No Provincial Notices Provinsiale Kennisgewings PROVINCIAL NOTICE 84 OF 2018 NOTICE IN TERMS OF SECTION 9I OF THE NATIONAL LAND TRANSPORT ACT, 2009 (ACT NO.5 OF 2009) I, Thomas Mxolisi Kaunda, by virtue of the powers vested [u me in tenus of section 91 of the National Land Transport Act, No.5 of 2009 ( "the Act ") as the Member of the Executive Council for the province of the KwaZu[u Natal responsible for Transport and being of the opinion that extraordinary measures are necessary to normalize transport services in the area referred to in this notice, which area is affected by violence, unrest, conflict or instability, hereby declare "Extraordinary measures" in the following areas: a. Mahlabathini, Thonjeni, Nkulu, KwaWosiyane and KwaBlose (KwaNyuswa) in the Izingolwerri area within Ugu district Municipality; b. All taxi operations of Izingolweni Taxi Owner's Association in the areas of Mahlabathini, Thonjeni, Nkulu, KwaWosiyane and KwaBlose ( KwaNyuswa) in the area of Izingolweni within Ugu District Municipality. Having declared Extraordinary measures in the aboya area, I intend invoking the provisions of Section 91(2) (a) and/or (b) of the Act, further details whereof shall be published by me through an appropriate medium in terms of section 91 of the Act, Any interested or affected persons may make representations as to why my decision made in tenus of this notice should be reconsidered, The representations must.
