2 No THE BOMBARDMENT RANGE AREAS ORDINANCE (Cap Laws of Cyprus). NOTICE UNDER SECTION 2. Cap. 213 Cyprus). (Laws of Cyprus P.I. No. 634 Of I9s9. In exercise of the powers vested in him by Section 2 of the Bombardment Range Areas Ordinance, the Administrator hereby declares the areas set out in the Schedule to this Notice to be Bombardment Range Areas for use by Her Majesty's Forces, until further order, as practice areas for the purposes specified in the said Section. 2. Notification No. 634 in Supplement No. 3 to the Gazette No of the 31st December, 1959 in so far as it is effective in the Sovereign Base Areas, is hereby cancelled. SCHEDULE The Akrotiri (No. 1) Bombardment Range Area. The boundary forms part of a circle and encloses part of AMRQTIRI Main State Forest and part of the Merra of Akrotiri in the village Akrotiri in the District of Limassol. The centre of the said circle is at a point on the seashore, the co-ordinates of which on the Survey of Cyprus grid are x , y feet. The radius of the said circle is 3,000 feet. All which said boundary is represented on the map 1:50,000 Cyprus sheet 6 Episkopi, by a part of the circle, centre at the point, map reference and radius 1,000 yards, commencing at the point, map reference , on the seashore and proceeding in a clockwise direction to the point, map referenes , on the seashore. The Akrotiri (No. 2) Bombardment Range Area. That area of the territorial waters of the Sovereign Base Areas contained inside a line drawn through the following positions on Admiralty Chart No of the 15th October, 1954:- 34) 34'N 32056'E 34034'N 33" 0.2'E 'N 'E 34a 31.1'N 'E 34" 31.1'N 'E 'N X'E The Episkopi Bombardment Range Area. The area of the territorial waters of the Sovereign Base Areas bounded by a line drawn round the circumference of a

3 circle of 4,000 yards radius with a centre in the position N, 32O E and by the limit of the territorial waters where that limit is within the area of the aforesaid circle. The Dhekelia Bombardment Range Area. The boundary encloses part of localities Knassa, Phinijin, Stenon, Kazama, Kokkinokremmos, Mavrospilios, Paliomandra, Kimistron, Kaphkarokremmos, Vikla, Loutomia and Laxia tou Papa of the village of Pyla in the District of Larnaca and is marked on the ground by danger notices at intervals of 300 yards. The Cyprus Survey Grid Coordinates of the corners of the said boundary are E , N ; E , N ; E , N ; E , N ; E , N ; E , N ; E , N ; E , N All which said boundary is marked more particularly on the ground by Danger Notices situated at prominent points warning all persons in English, Greek and Turkish that they should keep out of the area when red flags are hoisted, and on the map 1 :50,000 Cyprus, Sheet 13, Larnaca, by a line joining the points in succession whose map references are , , , , , , and The Pyla Bombardment Range Area. (1) Sea Danger Area: That area of the territorial waters of the Sovereign Base Areas contained inside a line drawn through the following positions on Admiralty Chart No. 851 of the 8th August, 1941: N N ,.8 N N N W N N E E E E 331~ 52.6 E E E E (2) Land Danger Area: The boundary commences at a point on the coast 500 yards due south of the Church at Panayia; thence northeast for 2,900 yards to where the track from Xylophagou turns southeast; thence east-southeast for 4,000 yards to the coast at a point 400 yards due south of the Church at Ayios Yeorghios. All which said boundary is marked more particularly on the ground by Danger Notices situated at prominent points warning all persons in English, Greek and Turkish to keep awny

4 114 from the Danger Area when red flags (or red lights by night) are displayed at Cape Greco, Cape Pyla and Dhekelia and on a boat patrolling outside the boundary of the sea Danger Area; and on the map 1:50,000 Cyprus, Sheet 13, Larnaca and Sheet 15, Famagusta, by points map reference , and Made this 23rd day of November, By the Administrator s Command, T.M.G. WILLIAMS, No. 73 THE COMPENSATION ASSESSMENT TRIBUNAL ORDINANCE (Cap Laws of Cyprus). APPOINTMENT OF MEMBER TO COMPENSATION ASSESSMENT TRIBUNAL. In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by Section 4 of the Compensation Assessment Tribunal Ordinance, I, the Senior Judge, hereby appoint Mr. Pantelakis Kyprianides to be a Member of the Tribunal established under the Ordinance for a term of two years beginning from the 1st December, 1963, in addition to the members set out in Notification 46 in Supplement No. 3 to the Gazette No. 78 of 16th September, Dated this 20th day of November, W.A. In exercise of the powers vested in him by section 2 of the Motor Vehicles (Third Party Insurance) Ordinance, the Administrator has been pleased to make the following Order:- 1. This Order may be cited as the Motor Vehicles (Third Party Insurers) (Amendment) Order, 1963, and shall be read as one with the Motor Vehicles (Third Party Insurers) Order, 1957, as amended from time to time (hereinafter referred to as the principal Order ). P.I. NOS. 319, 355, 560, 1085 of 1957, II31/ 58, , I 02, I 74 of I 960 (Cyprus). P.I.
