2 THE FOREST ORDINANCE COrdinance 14 of 1980). GRANT OF LAND UNDER SECTION 18. In exercise OP the powers vested in him under Section 18 of the Forest Ordinance, the Administrator hereby grants the land specified in the Schedule hereto situated within the Xylotymbou Minor State Forest which is described in the Order in Council set out in the second column of the said Schedule to the person named in the penultimate column of the said Schedule in exchange for the land described in the last column of the said Schedule. 3 No THE COMMODITIES AND SERVICES (REGULATION AND CONTROL) ORDINANCE (Ordinances 11 of 1962, 9 of 1963, 3 of 1967, 10 of 1972 and 10 of 1982). CONTROL AND MAXIMUM PRICE ORDER MADE UNDER SECTIONS 3(1) AND 4(1). In exercise of the powers vested in him by subsection (I) of Sections 3 and 4 of the Commodities and Services (Regulation and Control) Ordinance, the Administrator hereby makes the following Order :- 1. This Order may be cited as the Commodities and Services (Regulation and Control) (Maximum Price of Local Cheese) Order, Local cheese (including halloumi, fetta, anari, kefalotyri and kaskavali ) is hereby declared to be a controlled commodity for the purpose of this Ordinance. 3. The wholesale and retail prices at which halloumi may be sold in the Areas, shall not exceed the maximum prices set out in the second and third columns respectively of the Schedule hereto. 4. Public Instruments Nos. 51 of 1976, 58 of 1977, 17 of 1978, 24 of 1979, 25 of 1980, 39 of 1980, 73 of 1981 and 22 of 1983 are hereby revoked. S C H E D U L E Fixed maximum prices. THE SUPPLIES AND SERVICES (TRANSITIONAL POWERS) (CYPRUS) ORDER ORDER MADE BY THE COMPETENT AUTHORITY UNDER DEFENCE REGULATION 63. Whereas by Order dated the 3rd May, 1983 and published in Supplement No. 3 to the Gazette of the 4th May, 1983 under Notification No. 34 (hereinafter referred to as the Order ), the Chief Officer being the Competent Authority for the purposes of Defence Regulation 63 authorised the use, for the purpose of implementing an emergency irrigation scheme (involving the pumping of water and laying of pipelines) of the land set out in the second Schedule to the Order, situated in the Sovereign Base Area of Akrotiri (hereinafter referred to as the land ), subject to the restrictions and conditions therein laid down for a period of nine months : And whereas the Competent Authority is satisfied that the land should continue to be used for the said purpose until the 3lst December, Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers vested in him by Defence Regulation 63, as set out in the First Schedule to the Supplies and Services (Transitional Powers) (Cyprus) Order 1946 (as applied to and adapted in the Sovereign Base Areas of Akrotiri and Dhekelia Order in Council 1960 and the Laws (Adaptation and Interpretation) Consolidation and Extension) Ordinance 1968 which Order continues in force by virtue of the provisions of the Supplies and Services (Transitional Powers) (Continuation) Ordinance, the Chief Officer being the Competent Authority has authorised the use of the said land for the purpose of implementing an emergency irrigation scheme (involving the pumping of water and laying of pipelines), subject to the restrictions laid down in the Order until the 3Pst December, P. I. No. 64 of 1946 (Cyprus). Ordinance 5 of Cap. 175A (Laws of Cyprus). THE SUPPLIES AND SERVICES (TRANSITIONAL POWERS) (CYPRUS) ORDER, ORDER MADE BY THE COMPETENT AUTHORITY UNDER DEFENCE REGULATION 63. P. I. No. 64/1946 ( CYPrnS). Ordinance 5 of In exercise of the powers vested in him by Defence Regulation 63, as set out in the First Schedule to the Supplies and Services (Traditional Powers) (Cyprus) Order, 1946, (as applied to and adapted in the Sovereign Base Areas of Akrotiri and Dhekelia by the Sovereign Base Areas of Akrotiri and Dhekelia Order in Council 1960 and the Laws (Adaptation and Interpretation) (Consolidation and Extension) Ordinance, 1968) which Order continues in force by virtue of the provisions of the Supplies and Services (Transitional Powers) (Continuation) Ordinance, the Competent Authority for the purpose of the said Regulation hereby makes the following Order :- 1. Subject to the restrictions and conditions contained in the First Schedule to this Order, the use, for the purposes of setting up a temporary graveyard, of the land and property specified in the Second Schedule hereto (hereinafter referred to as the land ) during a period of two years as from the 25th May, 1984 is hereby authorised. 2. The persons using the land in pursuance of this Order are entitled to do thereon or in relation thereto such acts as may be necessary for the purposes referred to in paragraph The exercise of any right of way over the land and of any other right relating thereto which is enjoyed by any person whether by virtue of any interest in the land or otherwise, is hereby prohibited during the period this Order shall remain in force. FIRST SCHEDULE 1. The land shall be occupied and used for the purpose of setting up and maintaining a temporary graveyard. 2. At the expiration of this Order the land shall be returned to the persons entitled thereto free of any erection, structure or construction erected or constructed thereon after the making of this Order. 3. Compensation shall be paid to the persons having an interest in the land for its use and occupation under this Order.
7 115 SECOND SCHEDULE An area of land comprising approximately 2 donums and 2 evleks being plot 58 of Government Sheet/Plan No. LVIII/l situated at Paramali village within the Akrotiri Sovereign Base Area and shown on a plan kept at the Headquarters of the Sovereign Base Areas Administration. 8 No THE MINIMUM WAGE ORDINANCE (Cap. 183-Laws of Cyprus). ORDER MADE BY THE ADMINISTRATOR UNDER SUBSECTION (1) OF SECTION 3. In exercise of the powers vested in him by subsection (1.) of Section 3 of the Minimum Wage Ordinance, the Administrator hereby orders as follows :- 1. This Order may be cited as the Minimum Salaries (Shop Assistants and Clerks) Order, In this Order unless the context otherwise requires:- Clerk means any person performing clerical tasks, including the conducting of correspondence, the drafting of letters, the assembling and presentation of information, the preparation and issuing of receipts, the recording of entries in books, the filling in of forms, the handling of telephoiies, calculating and cash registering machines and general registry duties ; Shop Assistant means any person who is principally engaged in the selling of goods or articles in a retail establishment but does not include any employee in a catering establishment or any person whose relationship with the employer is that of a husband, wife, father, mother, son or daughter. 3.-(1) Subject to the provisions of sub-paragraph (2) of this paragraph the minimum monthly salary to be paid to any Clerk or Shop Assistant in the Areas from the 1st May, 1984 shall be eighty three pounds and fifty cents. (2)(a) The minimum monthly salary to be paid to any Clerk or shop Assistant in the Areas who, before the 1st May, 1984 had completed six months continuous employment with the same employer shall as from the 1st May, 1984 be ninety-one pounds and fifty cents ; (b) The minimum monthly salary to be paid to any Clerk or Shop Assistant who will have completed six months continuous employment with the same employer at any time after the 1st May, 1984 shall as from the date of such completion of employment, be ninety-one pounds and fifty cents : Ordinances 5 of Provided that any break in employment which under 1980,l of 1981 Part I1 of the Second Schedule of the Termination of and 4 of Employment Ordinance is not a break in employment, shall not be deemed for the purposes of this sub-paragraph as a break in employment. 9 No THE INDUSTRIAL TRAINING AUTHORITY (REPUBLIC OF CYPRUS) (RECOGNITION) ORDINANCE, 1979 (Ordinances 1 of 1979 and 20 of 1980). REGULATIONS MADE BY THE ADMINISTRATOR UNDER SECTIONS 9 AND 15. In exercise of the powers conferred upon him by Sections 9 and 15 of the Industrial Training Authority (Republic of Cyprus) (Recognition) Ordinance, 1979 the Administrator hereby makes the following regulations :- 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Industrial Training Authority (Employers Levy) (Amendment) Regulations, 1984 and shall be read as one with the Industrial Training Authority (Employers Levy) Regulations, 1979 as amended from time to time (hereinafter referred to as the principal Regulations ). 2. Regulation 4 of the principal Regulations is hereby amended by deleting the first proviso to paragraph (1) thereof and substituting therefor the following new proviso :- Provided that no levy shall be payable in respect of any part of wages exceeding one hundred and thirty two pounds weekly or five hundred and seventy two pounds monthly. 3. These Regulations shall be deemed to have come into effect on the 1st January, P. I~. 10 No THE MOTOR VEHICLES AND ROAD TRAFFIC ORDINANCE (Ordinances 8 of 1973, 5 of 1982 and 2 of 1983). THE MOTOR VEHICLES AND ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATIONS, APPOINTMENT OF EXAMINERS. In exercise of the powers vested in the Registrar of Motor Vehicles by regulation 46 of the Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic Regulations, I, the Registrar of Motor Vehicles, hereby appoint the persons whose names are set out in the Schedule as examiners for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of the said regulations. 2. Public Instrument No. 73 of 1983 as amended by Public Instruments Nos. 9/84 and 17/84 is hereby cancelled without prejudice to anything done or left undone thereunder.
