The Indian Youth Delegation to China-2017 REPORT -BY GADDAMANUGU SATYA VIJAYA VAGDEVI B-TECH 3 RD YEAR CSE DEPARTMENT CONTENTS 1. Introduction 2. Orientation Programme 3. Day wise Report 4. Outcomes of the programme
Introduction Introduction and preliminary preparation Be it any Foreign country, youth of India always have a curiosity to know their development strategy as well as all the aspects which differ from India,so that we can implement the best ways possible to develop our homeland. Internet, although one of the major source of information, it is something which cannot be relayed on completely. This is a great opportunity provided by Department of Youth affairs and Sports, Government of India to exchange our thoughts, culture, technical as well as social aspects with a foreign country and try to reform our nation. In this visit, students from different parts of India visit places like industrial and software parks, Universities as well as tourist spots. Thus, it takes in account all aspects mentioned above. The programme can be thought of as an initiative to learn with joy. Orientation Program on The orientation is the start point of our journey where, we got to know the actual reason of our visit as well as our schedule for the visit. We were addressed by honourable MOS(IC) Shri Vijay Goel at Vishwa Yuvak Kendra. His speech Emphasises the fact that, as a citizen of a country it is one s responsibility to first know about their country s govt and the policies present. His interaction with students was very much inspiring and thought provoking. He created a point of view on what is to be examined in the foreign nation. We were given brief about the program and all our group leaders were introduced to us. In a nutshell, the orientation was very much informative. Daily Report Day 1 (9-6-17) It was our first day in people s republic of China. Arrived at Beijing and Checked in to Beijing International hotel.we had a welcome Banquet by All China youth federation inaugurated by Mr.He Junke president of ACYF. We were also addressed by Our Indian Minister Shri Vijay Goel.
Day 2( ) It was this day when we first experienced beauty of china-we Visited the great wall of china.then headed to Indian embassy, we were Addressed by Shri Vijay Goel and Shri Vijay Ghokle. We then visited china youth centre for international exchange. There we witnessed Chinese culture and learnt cooking (mushroom dumplings) and Chinese knotting.
Day 3( ) We arrived at a new province of china Hunan. We all Visited the glorious Changsha museum which was very much informative, it gave us a glance into Chinese history.
Day 4( ) We had the pleasure of flower drum opera by eminent artists of china. Then we visited p8 planet and Yuanda j57 project. It had a self sustainable way of construction and does research on Space and Humans.
Day 5( ) We were introduced to the technology in china. We were taken to a software park Intelligent logistic solutions and Yujiahui corporation(unifon) a beauty product company. We had a Lecture on culture of Hunan at Hunan University. Then we went around the traditional university the yeulu academy. we spent our evening at Orange isle- beauty of Changsha. The day covered many places most of which left us awestruck.

Day 6( ) On this day we were taken for a vist to Zhuzhou branch of basic motor co. Ltd., CRRC Zhuzhou locomotive co. Ltd. and city planning exhibition hall. Then we had the great experience of bullet train g6033 to Guangzhou. It was one of the fastest trains presently running in china with a speed ranging km/hr.
Day 7( ) We all headed to visit Guangdong Science centre followed by Quichuang social work centre. Then we had the privilege to visit flower city square there we witnessed the highest beauty of China - Western Tower.

Day 8( ) We visited china mobiles southern base and sun yat sen university. Then we had the pleasure of Pearl river night tour in cruise and attended the farewell banquet where we received great hospitality.

Outcome of the Program 1.Experience Gained My personal experience was to know thoughts of different people, not only in china but also from different parts of India. Given a situation the way different people interpret the same, helped me to increase the depth of thinking as well to think out of the box. The farewell banquet was a memorable experience where in I got a chance to present Indian diversity in languages with music as a medium. I presented a song in 3 languages namely hindi, tamil and telugu. The response from Chinese audience was very encouraging. This represented their warm nature and hospitality towards their guests. The seminar in Guangzhou made us aware of the strong relationship between both the countries in many aspects such as education, business, trade, IT, Health and Research. 2.Key Learnings Be it the leaders or guides or pedestrians of china it is evident that discipline is key part of their life. They are self respected and lovers of nation. Although the country is one of the most populated nations the strict rules of government are succeeding in controlling the population growth and maintaining the countries position as one of the fastest growing economies. It seems there is a common education system throughout china, thus enabling an unified methodology in learning process. However, English is the only drawback hindering their foreign affairs which the people would definitely overcome in the near future. 3.Important Suggestions Although Govt makes many policies and laws there must be strict surveillance so that there is no diluted implementation of the same. The Public cycle system adapted in china is a major step towards pollution control. On the other hand it helps in the betterment of public health. We can try implementing similar strategy in India. However proper footpaths and road bifurcations are pre requisites. But, once this plan gets successfully implemented it can be strongly assumed that there will be a decrease in Road accident rates.
Increasing the greenery, especially roadside, also controls pollution. Since onground wiring is major concern for cutting trees, it would be good if India tries to adapt underground technology as in many foreign countries. Also it would be beneficial to make at least schooling level education to have a common education system which does not compromise on all-round development. When students are trained for research orientation from school level itself rather than being bookworms they will be able to rush through this competitive world with flying colours. 4.How this program helps Youth Development in India? Today s Youth are tomorrow s future. This saying emphasizes the fact that Youth must be made aware of present and must be provoked to think about their future. In this programme we visited p8 which is a self sustainable construction. Although most of the students come across the topic Sustainable development it is very rare that people implement it in daily lives. After looking at that building I feel all the Gated communities can implement this, which will be a large scale implementation of sustainable development. In this way the programme creates awareness among the youth and helps them to take part in nation s development. 5.My message to Youth of India Whichever country may it be, whatever may be the Government, It is the people who rule the country. Unless and until people follow the rules set by the government, there will be no change in the nation s economy or environment itself. By looking at china one can imagine swach Bharat turning into reality if we people put our efforts in implementing the great policy set up by our honourable Prime Minister Shri Modi ji.
