One Vision. is RefugeeOne s premier annual fundraising event supporting the organization s mission of creating opportunities for refugees fleeing war, terror, and persecution to build new lives of safety, dignity and self-reliance. The event is a formal affair held Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the Bridgeport Art Center in the Sculpture Garden room. Over 300 people are expected to attend. The evening begins with a cocktail reception featuring cultural performances and a silent auction. Dinner follows with a program and award presentation. After dinner, guests can mingle while enjoying decadent desserts made by The Eli s Cheesecake Company. As an individual, family, organization or business that sponsors this benefit, you will have an opportunity to associate with Chicago s largest refugee resettlement organization. Your sponsorship will directly support the resettlement of refugees who are building new lives in the community. Benefits of sponsorship include program ads, event tickets, logo placement, verbal recognition and premium seating. Sponsorship can also allow you to directly interact with refugees you are helping. About RefugeeOne Because of generous support from friends like you, RefugeeOne resettles nearly 500 refugees each and every year. Your partnership makes it possible for us to help refugees become economically independent members of their new community as quickly as possible after they reach their new home here in Chicago. Our support starts the minute refugees arrive at O Hare Airport. We greet them and bring them home to safe, furnished apartments to start their new lives as permanent United States residents. Within days, we begin providing English classes, job readiness training, child supportive services, school placement, after school programs and women s programs, among other services.

3 MANY VOICES. ONE VISION. Gala Sponsorship Packages $10,000 Refugee Family Sponsor (family of 4) Through this sponsorship you can provide all that is needed to resettle a family of 4. This sponsorship will provide 3 months of rent, furniture, household goods, toiletries, back packs, school supplies and groceries--all of the things that are needed to make a comfortable home for a newly arrived family. With this sponsorship you have the opportunity to take part in the arrival of the family at O Hare Airport, share a hot meal with them at their new home and interact with the family as they get acclimated to life in America. Included with this sponsorship are: 10 premium seating event tickets Full-page listing in the event program book Verbal acknowledgement at the event $5,000 RefugeeOne Youth Program Sponsor Refugee youth begin their new lives in the U.S. with many hopes for a brighter future but face significant challenges to their academic success and social adjustment. Through after-school tutoring and mentoring programs, mental health services including group therapy, along with parent education and school advocacy, RefugeeOne supports over 200 youth per year as they strive to learn English and succeed in a new educational system, community and culture. Included with this sponsorship are: 6 premium seating event tickets Half-page listing in the event program book Verbal acknowledgement at the event

4 $2,500 Individual Refugee Sponsor Oftentimes rebels try to recruit young men to fight for their cause. Many are tortured or killed if they refuse. To escape this fate, young men leave their family friends and countries to seek refuge. Sometimes these refugees cannot communicate ever again with family for fear of retaliation against remaining family members. These young men may decide to start a new life alone in a new country. This sponsorship will provide initial housing, food and all of the things that are needed to make a comfortable home for a newly arrived refugee. With this sponsorship you have the opportunity to meet the refugee at O Hare Airport, share a hot meal and interact with them as they acclimate to American life.
