6 Policies All bookings require a confirmation deposit of 50% when using deposit, transfer or cash. If you are paying by credit card the confirmation amount will be 20%. We need your card number and its expiry date in order to proceed your booking and we will tell how to send us this information by in case this can t be done by phone. Any additional charges (for example commission between banks) will be at the client s charge. For bookings for services that can not be confirmed in advance by our company because of policies of third parties, such as the Chirripó tour and others, we will proceed with this booking in our hotel but no payments of any kind will be requested until the service is entirely confirmed. Cancellations 1. The deposit made to confirm reservations (50% or 20%) is not refundable and it is up to the hotel to decide whether the client can use this deposit to book another date. 2. In case the confirmation of the booking was done by credit card no extra costs will be charged if the cancellation is done 15 days prior to arrival. If the cancellation is done in a time frame of less than 15 days, the total cost of the booking will be charged. 3. The hotel can decide to refund a percentage of the amount paid in case the room can be sold to another client. All cancelations have to be done by info@hotelpelicano.net Courtesies For travel agencies, touroperators and wholesalers: CPL or courtesies are given as follows: 1 courtesy for 4-15 pax, 2 courtesies for pax, to be used for the services of our hotel only (food and lodging). Extra services like tours, packages and others have to be paid seperately. DRIVERS will have free lodging when the group they are transporting consists of 5 or more pax.
