UNDP undertook two missions to affected districts in Bihar in the week of 22 September to assess the ground situation and meet with district authorities to discuss type of support needed to cope with the flood relief efforts. UNDP will provide technical support by hiring Information Coordination Specialists and IT Facilitators to strengthen the information management and coordination mechanism under the authority of the District Magistrate. UNFPA UNFPA is distributing dignity kits for women and adolescent girls. The first batch of 25,000 dignity kits has reached Patna and will be sent to Supaul on 28 Sept.
