7 Goldwater Project NTMWD executed MOU to participate in Goldwater Project originally presented at April 2016 Water Partnering Meeting Goldwater recommends Kip Averitt provide overview to NTMWD Board on potential program activities and expected results prior to initiating activities possibly January 2017 not yet confirmed
8 GOLDWATER PROJECT OBJECTIVES Assess, quantify and track previous and ongoing conservation strategies of all NTMWD customers Provide wholesale customers with detailed reports that assist them in meeting their own conservation goals and show how to stay on track with tailored, cost effective measures Address challenges to implementing future strategies and to achieving water conservation goals Provide state and local recommendations that will help participating utilities to achieve their conservation goals. 8
