Jeanette is a member of the First United Methodist Church and was instrumental in securing the church as a new home for the Peoria Camera Club to host meetings, photography workshops, and celebratory dinners. Jeanette has a history of volunteerism with the Peoria Camera Club. She has been serving as judge procurer for several years with the challenging and onerous task of procuring qualified and diverse judges for each of the many club competitions. As a respected church member and active participant in the arts community, Jeanette was influential in promoting and coordinating several nature-themed PCC member shows in the Foster Gallery to promote photography as an art, giving greater visibility to the camera club as an artist organization.
