3 EMG disposabe neede eectrodes Our high-quaity disposabe and steriised neede eectrodes consist of an insuated stee wire in a stainess high-grade stee cannua. The recording surface is 0.02 or 0.07 mm², depending on the size of the neede. The eectrodes are suppied excusivey in packs of 25. Our disposabe neede eectrodes are individuay sterie packed and EO steriised. The needes may ony be used once on one patient. Do not straighten bent needes, repace them with a new neede instead. The expiry date is printed on the packaging. The packaging must be inspected for any damage before it is opened. Do not steriise it again. Pease dispose of used needes propery. The meta ring in the neede hoder is grounded (earthed) to the ampifier (no 50 Hz interference from user to patient). The cooured bushes on the neede hoder ceary mark the pin assignment on the 5-pin DIN connector 240. 4 Hypodermic disposabe cannua These high quaity cannuas, made of high-grade stainess stee with utrasmooth coating, are idea for painess skin penetration. Coour coding ensures the cear identification of the cannua ength. The cabe is 750mm ong and has a DIN safety connector. The disposabe cannuas are individuay sterie packed and EO steriised. The cannua may ony be used once on one patient. Do not straighten bent needes, repace them with a new neede instead. The expiry date is printed on the packaging. This bipoar surface eectrode is used to stimuate motor nerves through the skin. It consists of an injection unit with 2 god-pated sockets for fet inserts or meta inserts (nicke free). 5 Sensitive nerve eectrode This sensitive nerve eectrode is suitabe for deriving sensitive evoked potentias on fingers and toes as we as for transcutaneous stimuation of sensitive nerve endings. They consist of a pair of fexibe ring eectrodes (back and white) with vecro tape and a vecro fastening. The contact carrier consists of tin-pated copper braiding. The white is the active eectrode (anode) and the back is the reference eectrode (cathode). The vecro tape aows the eectrodes to be easiy adjusted and attached to fingers or toes. This sensitive oop eectrode is suitabe for deriving sensitive evoking potentias on fingers and toes as we as for transcutaneous stimuation of sensitive nerve endings. It consists of a pair of pug-in, highy fexibe and easiy adjustabe oop eectrodes made of stainess spring stee. The active eectrode (anode) has a back ead cabe and the reference eectrode (cathode) has a red ead cabe. 6 Surface ead eectrode This surface ead eectrode is used for measuring motor and sensitive evoking potentias. It consists of two fat futed V2A stee eectrodes with 8 mm diameter, fixed to a highy fexibe cabe 12 / 20 cm in ength. The white eectrode is active and the brown eectrode is the reference eectrode. The surface ead eectrode (aso known as wafer eectrode) is suppied in two versions: eectrode and connection cabe firmy connected or eectrode and cabe separate (for which the universa cabe or is needed), with the connecting points in this version fitted with safety connectors. Grounding eectrodes are required for neurophysioogica examinations to eiminate 50Hz interference. The grounding tape consists of conductive, fexibe siicon tape with a vevet finish and a vecro fastening. The copper modes may be use for ong-term derivations, e.g. in the seep aboratory. The grounding tape is attached to a push-button via a highy fexibe ead. The grounding eectrode must be paced as near to the pick-up eectrode as possibe, or between the stimuus and pick-up eectrode. The inner contact side is moistened with water or a saine soution and fastened with the vecro tape prior to use. 7 Universa eectrode cabe This shieded eectrode cabe with touch-proof jacks are suitabe for deriving singe or muti-channe action potentias, for a types of eectrodes with touchproof connectors. This cabe may aso be used for cup eectrodes, surface eectrodes, ead eectrodes, sensitive oop eectrodes, disposabe adhesive eectrodes, connection cabes with aigator cips and connection cabes in touch-proof designs. 2, 3 or 4 channe eads require the use of the appropriate number of singe channe eectrode cabes, (distributors can be cipped together) which may be connected with bridge adapters (jumper) reference and ground inputs, as required. The universa eectrode cabe is suitabe for a units with 5-pin DIN input jacks. These god-pated cup eectrodes (not punched, but a turned/mied component machined from a meta aoy) are avaiabe in different cabe coours and with safety connector. The surface cup eectrodes are suitabe for a eads of evoked potentias on the head, neck and Erb s point. They are ight and reinforced at the junction of the cabe and cup eectrode to prevent kinking. They are attached with conductive adhesive ge or adhesive rings. The skin must be degreased and roughened before appying the eectrodes to reduce skin resistance. 8 Subderma disposabe neede eectrode These disposabe needes are EO-steriized and individuay packed. The needes are designed for the one-off use invoving a singe patient. Bent needes must not to be straightened but exchanged instead. The expiry date is printed on the package. Before opening, the package must be checked for any damage. Do not steriize again. Pease dispose of used needes propery. A neede types are deivered with the safety connector on the device side according to DIN EEG eectrodes are used to derive eectroencephaograms. Individua eectrodes consist of sintered Ag/AgC eectrodes as recommended by the German EEG Society for routine eads. The eectrode body is suppied with a screw thread for easy adjustment. The eectrode may be adapted at the top or through the diagona hoe using a 2mm connector. The derivation surface of the eectrode is 10mm in diameter and is covered with fabric. Before use it must be immersed in a physioogica saine soution or coated with eectrode paste. Care must be taken to prevent the siver contact of the eectrode coming into contact with the eectroytes. Warranty at purchase Subject to para. 10 beow and ruing out any further caims, we provide warranty for materia defects as foows: The period of warranty for new goods commences on the date the goods or the invoice are received whichever occurs ast. The caims under warranty are initiay imited to subsequent performance. If the subsequent performance fais, you may in your discretion withdraw from the contract or demand a reduction of the purchase price. No further compensation for damage or oss wi be made. Wear and tear occurring in the course of proper use is not covered by the warranty. In the course of subsequent performance we have the right of choice either to remedy the defect or to deiver goods free of defects. In whatever case of deivery, 377 HGB (German Commercia Code) obiges you to inspect the goods and to give notice of defect if you operate a commercia business. Any hidden defects must be reported to us without deay, at the atest within 3 working days after their discovery. The warranty period for defects is one year after passing of risk. Ony the product description is deemed to be agreed as condition of the goods. Pubic statements, promotiona statement or other extoing do not constitute any additiona condition statement reating to the goods. 10. Liabiity Prices We consider ourseves bound by the prices we quote. However, if technica changes resut in a change in price, offers made without engagement may aso resut in a change in price of which we wi notify you at once. We must invoice you separatey for shipping charges (simpe consig.ent by post or courier service, express deivery, air freight). These charges and the statutory vaue added tax wi be shown separatey in the invoice. Up to an order vaue of EUR we must invoice an extra charge of EUR With an order vaue exceeding EUR , our domestic deivery (mainand) is made free of postage and packaging costs. 4. Passing of risk We deiver ex works, with the effect that our iabiity ends when we surrender the goods to the first forwarder or, if you are responsibe for transport, on the date we make the goods ready for shipment in our suppy warehouse and send the notice of readiness for shipment. Even if you are not responsibe for any damage to the goods after this point in time, you wi be obiged to pay us the purchase price. If a contract has been brought about between us, you wi aso be iabe if you have not accepted the goods (defaut in acceptance). 5. Deivery periods, force majeure Deivery dates given by us in writing are deemed to be observed if the goods pass to the first forwarder by that date or, if you are responsibe for transport, as soon as we send you the notice of readiness for shipment. You are entited after setting a reasonabe additiona period and after such period expires to withdraw from the contract if we fai to deiver within said period. If permanent performance hindrances exist which are beyond our contro and of which we have without faut not been aware at the time the contract was cosed, we are exempt from performance. Shoud you have aready paid a sum in consideration, we wi immediatey refund such consideration. If the performance hindrance as defined above occurs ony temporariy, our mutua performance obigations are suspended for the duration of the hindrance, at the ongest however for four months. Like us, you may not withdraw from the contract before expiry of this four months period if the hindrance or obstace has not been remedied by then. After receiving the goods, you must at once inspect the goods for any shortages or transport damage. In the event of transport damage, a damage protoco must be made in order to secure any caims against the forwarding company. 6. Payments If your payment (in Euros ony) does not eave your account within a 30 day period commencing on the date the invoice is sent, you are automaticay in defaut of payment without any further notice or reminder from us. Any osses we incur by your defaut wi be caimed against you. We cannot accept payments by cheque or bis of exchange. If you pay within 10 days, you may make a 2% deduction from the gross invoice amount (discount). Invoice amounts beow EUR cannot be discounted. If you are in defaut of payment from another transaction with us, or if there are any doubts with respect to your sovency or abiity to pay, we are entited to ask you to provide security for a unpaid caims. We are aso authorised to withhod outstanding deiveries unti we receive the security. If no security is provided, we have the right to withdraw from the contract. You may offset ony against undisputed caims or caims found to be judiciay fina. The same appies to the assertion of rights of retention. Our iabiity is for damage or injury to ife and imb, the body or to heath at east caused by intentiona or negigent dereiction of duty by us, by our statutory representatives or vicarious agents. Beyond that, our iabiity is for damage or oss which are covered by mandatory statutory iabiity provisions. We are iabe for damage or oss caused by simpe negigence to the extent such negigence reates to the infringement of such contractua duties the observance of which is of particuar importance for accompishing the purpose of the contract (cardina duties); however, iabiity is imited to the foreseeabe, immediate average damage typica for the contract. Further iabiity is not rued out if mandatory statutory provisions, for instance the Medica Product Law, demand such iabiity. If the iabiity is rued out or imited according to the foregoing, this aso appies to the persona iabiity of empoyees, staff members and other persons empoyed by the empoyer in the performance of empoyer s obigations. A caims arising from whatever ega reason are statute imited 12 months after receipt of the goods. The statutory periods appy for intentiona or maicious conduct, for caims under the Product Liabiity Law / the Medica Product Law and for recourse caims hed by the entrepreneur under 479 Section 1 BGB (German Civi Code). 11. Fina provisions If one of the provisions herein is or becomes ineffective, the remaining provisions remain in fu force and effect. The assignment of caims in reation to us requires our consent. A contractua reations entered into with us and these Genera terms of Business are soey governed by German aw excuding the UN Convention on the Internationa Sae of Goods (CISG). We save persona data in the event a contract is cosed. Persona data within the meaning of the Federa Data Protection Law (BDSG) are individua records concerning persona and factua conditions and circumstances of a certain or identifiabe person. Depending on the nature of the contract, these may incude name, address, e-mai address, date of birth, occupation and bank detais and other sensitive data such as financia or credit standing. We and our partner companies carefuy seected in accordance with 11 BDSG protect these data by appying the provisions of the BDSG and the TMG and by using technica and organisationa measures. We wi not pass your data saved at our premises to eterna third parties, uness this is necessary for performing this contract with you. We wi use your data for market purposes ony if you have given your express permission. Pursuant to 34 BDSG you have the right to receive information free of charge on the data we have saved about you and, pursuant to 35 BDSG, you have the right to request at any time that your persona data be deeted, corrected or bocked. Freiburg, January 2015 GmbH Reservation of tite in the event of purchase Unti we receive fu payment for our caims, the goods we suppy remain our property. Pease understand that we cannot aow you to pedge or give the goods by way of security to third parties. Under the reservation of tite you are under the obigation to give us immediate notice of an encroachment into our rights by a third party. If you vioate this duty, we reserve the right to recover the goods. In such case you may not caim any rights of retention or other right of possession. If the goods you purchase from us are intended for resae, you may do so in the ordinary course of business and prior to setting our caim for payment if you at the same time assign to us by way of security your accounts receivabe pus any anciary rights accruing to you in reation to your buyers and pass on the reservation of tite. We aso here and now accept such assignment. In the event you defaut in payment, we are aowed to discose such assignment and the coection of the caim. In such case you are obiged to inform us of the existence and status of your caims against third party buyers and their persons. If with the assignment we receive a coatera security of over 120% of a our unpaid caims against you, we wi upon request return the subordinate caim amount exceeding this imit. The reservation of tite serves to secure a our caims arising from the business reationship with you. This aso appies if caims are incuded in an ongoing invoice and the baance is made and acknowedged.
