Students had the chance to talk to potential employers during this event and pick-up applications. They had schools from all over attend. Tom was also on a panel with three other people and they held four sessions total; and spoke to people. 8 Scheduled Tours: Tom Schrader gave a tour to Burlington Elementary School on April 8, 2016 for 47 students. Susan Bosch was the group contact person and they wanted to learn more about the weather. Jim Olson gave a tour to Ray School on May 11, Amanda Boren was the group contact person and she had 33 kids. They wanted to learn about weather. Tom Schrader gave a tour to Ojibwa Indian School in Belcourt. They were there on May 11 10:30am. Angie Poitra was the group contact and she had 30 students in their group. Turtle Lake Mercer School were here on May 19, 10am. Tom Schrader gave them the tour. Jessica Anderson and 40 others received the tour. They wanted to learn more about the weather department. Shawn Roedocker & Brittney Kingsley scheduled a tour on May 23 9:30am with Tom Schrader. They were from Edison Elementary School. They wanted to learn everything about a television station. Tim Olson gave a tour to Edison School (3 rd Graders) on May 23, 2016 to 33 students and their teacher, Wahland Havig. Tom Schrader gave a tour to MDEA (Kayla Andersion) and five other people on June 1 2pm. They wanted to know what daily tasks of a television station. Tom Schrader gave a tour to MDEA (Kayla Anderson) and six other people on June 1 3:30pm. Jim Olson gave a tour to Good Shepherd Childcare (Vincent) on June 28, 10am. They had three teachers and twelve kids in the group. Tom Schrader gave a tour to Good Shepherd Daycare (Sam Cone) on June 28, 1pm. They had 20 people in the group and they wanted to learn about the weather. Jennifer Kleen gave a tour to Good Shepherd Daycare (April) on June 28, 2016 for two adults and 5 children. They wanted to learn and see the inside on a television station. Turtle Mountain Middle School in Belcourt toured the station on July 13 th. Tom Schrader gave the tour. Kathy Rohlfing-Delorme was the group contact name, she had 28 people with her. They wanted to learn more about weather for summer academy. Jennifer Kleen gave a tour to Rugby High School (Ashley Stricker) on September 8 th. They had 11 people in their group. They started their own channel at the high school, so they wanted to learn more about what we did.
9 Tom Schrader gave a tour to Minnewaukan Public School (2 nd Graders) on October 4 10:30am. Ms. Wilson was the group contact and she had 19 students with her. They wanted to learn more about the weather.
