Advanced Propulsion Technologies: Charging into the Future- John Bashel, Alisyn Malek Upcoming Events II. Undergrad Electee Info (Kristin Graf - grafk) A. Third Actives- 13 Mar service hours due. Talk to grafk if you have problems completing these hours. B. E/A III - 3 Apr Meeting before: Desserts and a new MI-G TBP yell 2. Physical things due: Electee exam, peer interviews, $90 initiation fee (cash or check payable to Tau Beta Pi 3. Hours due: 2 hours Tutoring, 3 hours MindSET, 14 other hours (or more if you have missed meetings). III. Initiation and Banquet (Kristin Graf - grafk and Nathan McKay - ngmckay) A. Initiation - 15 Apr at 4pm in 1500 EECS 1. Required to become a member, let Kristin (grafk) know ASAP if you have a conflict 2. Dress is business formal, and bring a form of photo ID 3. Plan on arriving at least 30 minutes early, doors lock at 4pm B. Banquet- 15 Apr at 5:30pm at Campus Inn, dinner will be served at 6pm 1. New Initiates- attendance is free and required, rides will be provided, Kristin if you cannot attend 2. Actives- Tickets are $25. Tickets are free if you are: i. A group leader ii. One of the top 5 actives by service hours iii. A third-term or higher DA

5 Scavenger Hunt Group Name: Today s group activity is a scavenger hunt. There is a list of places (and points) for finding and taking pictures of you and your group with these places/people/things. You need to have at least half your group in the photo for it to count! Splitting up is not allowed! Points Item 30 How much nerdier can we get than a plane of intersecting sine and cosine waves? 30 A column that doesn t support anything and will never be finished. 30 Mirrored elevator, ooooh shiny. 20 Make a block M with your group surrounding a metal M. 30 Find the Structures Lab. 20 Take a picture next to a pond. 60 Get a picture from the top of the Bell Tower. 30 Find the offices of organizations who sell food on North Campus. 30 Find a Christmas Tree made of pop (or soda) cans. 30 Find a pulse detonation engine, BOOM. 20 Find the only statue of our school mascot on North Campus, thank you class of E Find a defunct current TBP officer (i.e. one not at the meeting). 20 Find one of the first computers ever. 50 Find a student in pajamas. 20 Find a student in a suit. 10 Find the big white metal tribute to architecture/roller coasters (10 extra points for finding the plan). 50 Take a picture with the North Campus deer or turkey (double points for a picture with both). They must be alive You have 30 minutes to find and take pictures (with at least half of your group) of as many of these items as possible before returning to 1013 Dow. Latecomers will be executed.
