Dan Porter and Jim ckinney from CTAA were present, indicating their interest in making the iracle League a part of the CTAA program. r. ilius made a motion to adopt Resolution No , approving the integration of a iracle Field into Graham Park. r. Caputy seconded the Parks & Recreation Department Review of Two Summer Initiatives

2 eeting inutes of September 6, 2007 Page 2 ike Diehl, Director, Parks & Recreation and Christine Border, Recreation Director/Program Coordinator discussed some of their summer programs. Christine introduced Amber arburger, Director of the Teen Leadership Camp. Amber reviewed the expanded program for teenagers called Counselors In Training. r. ilius thanked Amber for her wonderful presentation. r. Caputy noted that both of his children have worked with Camp Cranberry for ten to twelve years and it has been a wonderful experience. Christine then introduced Amanda Rudd and Troy Crewel who handle the Waterpark Lifeguard Training. They reviewed the type of training the lifeguards receive, including emergency response. r. ilius stated how pleased he was with this presentation. r. Andree remarked that in ten years since the waterpark opened, we have had nearly a million people visit the facility and have not had any serious injuries. ike and Christine then introduced a new program called Power Up that promotes a healthy life style. This program targets twelve to fifteen year olds, and is run in conjunction with the Visiting Nurses Association in an effort to combat childhood obesity. The Board was also reminded of the Puppy Plunge and the Fishing Derby at the Waterpark. 1. Reports The following reports were submitted for the Board=s review: a. The motion carried 4-0, with r. ilius abstaining from the vote as he was absent from the meeting. b. Warrants r. ilius made a motion to approve Warrant List #07370 dated 07/31/07, Warrant List #Ww0707 dated 07/31/07, Warrant List #08207 dated 08/20/07, Warrant List #OPR0807 dated 08/28/07, Warrant List #08407 dated 08/30/07, Warrant List #09107 dated 09/07/07 as presented. r. Skorupan seconded the motion. The motion carried 5-0. c. Allocation of Unappropriated Fund Balances r. ilius made a motion to adopt Resolution No providing for supplemental appropriations for the 2007 Budget. r. Skorupan seconded the d. Strategic Planning Citizens Ad Hoc Advisory Committee r. ilius made a motion to approve the appointment of the citizens who have indicated interest in serving on the Strategic Planning Citizens Ad Hoc Advisory Committee who shall serve at the pleasure of the Board of Supervisors until the expiration of this Ad Hoc Committee on ay 30, r. Skorupan seconded the e. Library Board r. ilius made a motion to accept the resignation of arcia Salsbury from the LibraryBoard as she is moving out of the Township. r. Skorupan seconded the r. ilius made a motion to appoint Jan Stevens to the Library Board to fill an unexpired term, ending December 31, r. Skorupan seconded the motion. The motion carried 5-0. f. Personnel r. ilius made a motion to approve the hire of Jason Smith into this Full-Time, Regular position of Code Administrator I in the Community Planning Department at a rate of $15.87 per hour of $33, annually effective September 17, 2007, and subject to the successful completion of a background check, driver s license check, physical examination and drug screening. r. 4 eeting inutes of September 6, 2007 Page 4 r. azzoni made a motion to adopt Resolution No granting Lot Line Revision Approval which will extinguish a lot line to consolidate 2.79 acres located at 130 Wisconsin Avenue in the SU-1 Zoning District. r. Skorupan seconded the 2. PR #30486 and # Preliminary and Final Land Development and Conditional Use r. azzoni made a motion to adopt Resolution No granting Preliminary and Final Land Development and Conditional Use Approval for a one (1) story, 6,624 square foot addition to an existing ortuary/funeral Home/ Crematorium located at 130 Wisconsin Avenue in the SP-1 Zoning District. r. Skorupan seconded the b. Cranberry Woods PR #30490 and PR #30487 (TLD 10/27/07) r. azzoni made a motion to adopt Resolution No granting Revised Preliminary Land Development and Conditional Use Approval for a Large Land Development/Use Center located along Cranberry Woods Drive on approximately 164 acres in the SP-1/BPK Zoning Districts. r. Skorupan seconded the motion. The motion carried 3-0, with r. Skorupan and r. azzoni abstaining from the vote. c. Westinghouse PR #30488 and PR #30489 (TLD 10/27/07) r. azzoni made a motion to adopt Resolution No granting Final Land Development Approval for three (3) buildings and Conditional Use Approval for a Daycare Facility in Building 2. The first building will be a five (5) story Business Office building with basement totaling 381,758 square feet, the second building will be a five (5) story Business Office with Day Care building totaling 218,120 square feet and the third building will be a five (5) story Business Office building totaling 181,230 square feet. Total square footage for the buildings will be 781,108 square feet. These buildings will be located in the Cranberry Woods Office Park along Cranberry Woods Drive on 83.4 acres in the SP-1 Zoning District. r. Skorupan seconded the motion. The motion carried 3-0 with r. Skorupan and r. azzoni abstaining from the vote. r. Russ Bussard addressed the Board, saying he simply wanted to say thank you. He came to Jerry Andree and the staff not long ago and presented them with what he thought was a fairly reasonable schedule. r. Bussard said he knew the Township had to do this while not hurting the other residents in the Township, and Westinghouse could not be more proud or more happy to be a part of the Township. Cranberry obviously has a lot of things going on that are very important to the people. r. Bussard offered a special thanks to John Trant, Ron Henshaw and Jason Kratsas and everyone on their staffs have bent over backwards. d. Pennsylvania Capital City Automotive and Equipment Contract (PACC) r. Skorupan made a motion to adopt Resolution No authorizing participation of the Township in the PACC (Pennsylvania Capital City) Automotive and Equipment Contract for the period December 20, 2006 through December 19, r. azzoni seconded the c. Water Easement Agreement in Forest Park r. Skorupan made a motion to adopt Resolution No accepting the water line easement from United obile Homes on Florida Blvd within the Forest Park Plan. r. azzoni seconded the d. Presentations Duane ckee and Lorin eeder presented a review of the Public Water System aster Plan and requested authorization to proceed with the implementation of a component of that Plan. It was determined that the Board is in agreement with authorization to proceed with engineering design of the new Commonwealth pump station. It was agreed to authorize advertisement for bids for Freedom Road waterline replacement estimated at $80,000. The Board also agreed to continued diligence in reviewing proposed developments and coordination with the Comprehensive Plan to include system upgrades. r. Andree noted that staff is going through a complete review of rates and will be coming to the Board with an updated rate schedule. 6. Supervisor Hadley - Public Safety There were no Public Safety items for this meeting. 7. Solicitor The Solicitor had no additional business this evening. 8. Additional Business

7 eeting inutes of September 6, 2007 Page 7 r. azzoni commented that the Board has made many attempts by letter to our Representative and Senator and we have had limited success. r. azzoni stated that he would like to have a face-to-face meeting with both Representative etcalfe and Senator Orie. r. azzoni said the Township is facing some serious paving issues, and he would like to proceed more formally and not let that stop. The Board is in agreement. r. Hadley agreed that a productive meeting is needed. 9. Adjournment r. Skorupan made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:15 p.m. r.
