The homework is collected through the WebAssign software. There will be at least one quiz every week. The quiz will consist of one problem from the book homework assigned the previous class OR a topic covered in class that day. Evaluation Criteria and Grading Scale The grade for this course will be derived from four tests, WebAssign homework, Quizzes and a final. There will be no make-up tests. The final exam grade will be substituted for the lowest test grade if it improves your average. 4 Tests 60% Homework 10% Quizzes 10% Final Exam 20% Letter grades will be assigned based on your final percentage as follows: = A = B = C = D 0 59 = F Note: I do not curve grades. I do not give grades. You earn what you get, so plan to work accordingly. Evacuation Procedure Evacuation Procedure: Please note the evacuation route posted at the classroom doorway. Two routes are marked in case one route might be blocked.
