Call Meeting to Order Roll Call & Introductions Brandon Janes, North Branch Chicago River Watershed Workgroup (NBWW) President, called the meeting to order at 1:05 pm at the Highland Park Police Station Training Room. Everyone introduced themselves and roll call was taken for the Executive Board members. Roll call included: Brandon Janes (President), Village of Deerfield; Matt Farmer (Vice President), Village of ; Matt Ueltzen, Lake County Forest Preserve District (LCFPD); James Tigue, Village of Glenview; Mike Zemaitis, Lake County Division of Transportation (LCDOT); Rob Flood (Committee Chair), North Shore Water Reclamation District (NSWRD); and James Bernahl, Village of Winnetka. A quorum was present. 2. Approve July 11, 2018 Minutes The July 11, 2018 Minutes were approved. First Motion: Matt Farmer, Village of. Second Motion: James Tigue, Village of Glenview. The motion was passed with a unanimous vote. 3. Public Comment None. 4. New Business a. Financial Report Ashley Warren gave updates and a timeline for NBWW revenues and expenditures. Ashley discussed contents of next meeting s financial report which will have two bills totaling $372 from the University of Washington Lab for benthic chlorophyll-a sampling, and the FY19 budget and contracts will be reviewed. There were no questions. Motion to approve the financial report and to ratify expenditures. First Motion: Matt Farmer, Village of. Second Motion: Rob Flood, NSWRD. Roll call was taken, and the motion was passed with a unanimous vote. b. Monitoring Committee Updates Rob Flood mentioned that water quality sampling analysis will be completed this week. May, June, July, August, September, and October results have been completed. Through the end of October, sampling is $217 under budget with contract not-to-exceed amount of $25,634 and actual amount of $25,417. Technical Services Agreement stated that chlorophyll-a sampling would take place in October, but the budget spreadsheet did not include the October sampling so the Committee decided not to take that sample and confirmed this decision with MBI.

Letters of Support Ashley Warren mentioned that the NBWW letters of support for the three Illinois EPA Section 319 FY19 projects within the North Branch of the Chicago River Watershed have been submitted. Letters from Congressman Schneider for the three Illinois EPA Section 319 FY19 projects have also been sent. 6. Next NBWW Meetings a. Next o December 12, 2018: 2:30 pm 4:00 pm at the Highland Park Police Station. b. Next NBWW General Membership Meeting o November 14, 2018: 1:00 pm 3:00 pm at the Winnetka Board Room. 7.
