AN ORDER IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 143 OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT CODE AND THE LOCAL CIVIL SERVICE RULES AUTHORIZING THE REAPPOINTMENT OF A POLICE OFFICER TO THE CITY OF DEL RIO POLICE DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, Chapter 143 of the Local Government Code Local Civil Service Rules set policies for the reappointment of Police Officers; WHEREAS, Chief of Police Waylon Bullard, wishes to reappoint Sergio Mendoza to a position in the Del Rio Police Department; WHEREAS, Sergio Mendoza left his position as Senior Officer of the Del Rio Police Department on March 13, 2013 under voluntary conditions and on good terms; WHEREAS, Chief of Police Waylon Bullard, has certified to the Director of the Civil Service Commission that Sergio Mendoza meets all the conditions for reappointment and staffing needs and conditions require his reappointment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED BY THE FIRE FIGHTER S AND POLICE OFFICER S CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DEL RIO, TEXAS, THAT: 1.
