1 1 EL RODEO ISSUE 20 DECEMBER 11, 2015 THIS FRIDAY S SPEAKER Randy Schoenberg Partner at Burris & Schoenberg, LLP Please join us this Friday at LA5 when our guest speaker, Beverly Hills attorney Randy Schoenberg, reveals the true story behind the movie Woman in Gold. Randy will share how he and his client, Maria Altmann, played artfully by Helen Mirren, took on the Austrian government and fought a battle all the way to the US Supreme Court to restore artwork stolen by the Nazis to its rightful owner, the Altmann family. It is an incredible true story of tenacity and justice, fought right here in Los Angeles and a story about the atrocities committed by one people over another that we must never forget. Woman in Gold was released in spring of 2015 and is a leading contender in this year s Hollywood awards season. Mr. Schoenberg, played by Ryan Reynolds in the movie, speaks to LA5 on Friday, December 11 at the LA Athletic Club. Please join us for lunch and this fascinating true story told nowhere else but at LA5. ADVANCED TICKET SALES HAVE CONCLUDED Walk-up lunches are available for $45. Please call the Rotary office today at (213) x103 to reserve your ticket. Please note that we will be meeting at the LA Athletic Club this Friday. Parking is $7 with validation.
