"" 3 AN ORDNk~CE relatng to santary sewer rates and charges provdng for the collecton thereof and repealng Ordnance Number THE CTY COUNCL OF THE CTY OF SSAQUAH WASHNGTON DO ORDAN AS FOLLOWS: Secton. Santary sewer servce rates shall be and there s hereby mposed a charge of $5.51) per month or any porton thereof for resdental sewer servces whch amount shall be due on the frst day of each month for whch servce s rendered and pad to the Cty Treasurer. " Resdental Servce" shall mean each sngle famly resdence served. Duplexes shall be deemed two resdences and each unt charged as such. Trplexes and apartments wth more than three resdental unts shall be charged the commercal and busness rates; provded however that the mnmum charge shall be not less than the amount charged duplexes. Secton 2. Commercal and busness rates for santary sewer servce shall be and there s hereby mposed a charge of Sxty-two cents ($.62) per each one hundred (100) cubc feet of water furnshed to the recpent of sewer servce durng the same month or any porton thereof n whch water servce s provded but not less thar $5.50 per month. Secton 3. Sewer rates for schools shall be the same as busness and commercal rates as stated n Secton 2 hereof. Secton 4. n addton to those rates and charges for sewage servce otherwse set forth heren the followng Metro charges to nsure complance wth Secton \ '2(3

A "Surcharge" n an amount to be determned as provded n Metro Resolutons No.' s 2315 and 2557 as now const tuted or hereafter amended wh ch Resolutons and any subsequent amendments thereto are hereby ncorporated by reference sad charge to be added to the customer's regular bll. B. An "CR charge" n an amount to be determned as provded n Metro Resolutons No.' s 2310 and 2556 as now const tuted or hereafter amended whch Resolutons and any subsequent amendments thereto are hereby ncorporated by reference sad charge to be blled separately to qualfyng ndustral customers on an annual basjs. C. Three (3) copes of Metro Resolutons No. s and 2557 shall be fled wth the Cty Clerk. Secton 5. t shall be the duty of the Cty Treasurer to keep accounts wth all users of santary sewer servce to enter on such accounts all charges and penaltes and provde regular bllng to all users. All blls shall be sent to the owners of record except when the tenant appears at the Cty Hall and sgns a notarzed statement acceptng responsblty for payment. An account shall be deemed delnquent f not pad. wthn thrty (30) days followng the date of bllng. Delnquent accounts shall be subject to a ten (10) percent servce charge.
