The responsibility of the Group is to assist the State Management Committee to ensure correct and appropriate management of the Holiday Homes and Retirement Units. Members should be able to travel to sites in Geraldton, Jurien Bay, Rockingham, Busselton, Albany and Esperance when required (at least annually), to inspect buildings and assist local Committees with management issues and forward planning. Nominees should have a knowledge of building maintenance and/or building management, analytical, observation and people skills. The Group is responsible for managing the space in the CWA Showroom to its best effect to promote the sale of Association goods such as The CWA Cookery Book and Household Hints and CWA members craft items; liaising with the State Management Committee for the management of the CWA Showroom and sourcing quality items for sale. The purpose of the CWA Training Programme is to provide training courses which improve members understanding of their role and responsibilities at all levels of the Association and to extend these courses where appropriate to assist leadership training in the community. Members can also be co-opted to the Training Programme at the invitation of the Coordinator, to present topics specific to their area of expertise. Training Programme members must be available to travel to city or country areas to present training. Costs are met through the State Projects Fund or organisers of the event.
