Mario Sanchez entered the meeting at 7:04 PM. 7. STUCO Reports Paula Cabrera, DCHS STUCO President and provided an update on the activities of her respective council. No DCMS STUCO report. 8. Recognition of Visitors President Dan Reichenborn Justin Burke, Dodge City High School teacher and coach presented a statement to the Board. None None 9. Consent Agenda A. Approval of Personnel B. Update on Elementary Principal Interview and Selection Process Joni Clark, Executive Director of Human Resources The Board of Education received information regarding the elementary principal selection process. The Board of Education reviewed the updated the information of the facilities projects approved for Dodge City Middle School, Building A and Building B. E. Superintendent 1. Chamber of Commerce Banquet - Saturday, February 20,2010 The Board of Education received the information on the Chamber of Commerce Banquet to be held Saturday, February 20, Dodge City Night in Topeka - Monday, March 8, 2010 The Board of Education discussed participation in the Dodge City Night events with Kansas Legislators in Topeka on Monday, March 8. Executive Session Moved - Tamie West Seconded - Dennis Doris The Board moved into executive session at 8:43 PM for 30 minutes as authorized by Kansas Law for discussion of negotiations in order to protect the public interest by negotiating a fair and equitable contract and discussion of personnel matters of non elected personnel in order to protect the privacy interest of the individual(s) to be discussed and included Superintendent of Schools; William Hammond, Executive Director of Business Services; Joni Clark, Executive Director of Human Resources; Brad Ralph, Board of Education Attorney; Jacque Feist, Principal of Dodge City High School and Jay Gifford, Director of Athletics. William Hammond left the meeting at 8:49 PM. Returned to open session at 9: 13 PM.
