11 TRAVEL GRANTS Grants We know that surgical oncologists strive to ensure that their patients receive the best possible treatment and high-quality care. ESSO and BASO share the same commitment. Both societies work hard to ensure that patients get the right treatment at the right time, providing a blend of expertise, passion and dedication for patient care that has been shown to improve outcomes for the individual as well as overall cancer research, treatment and care. ESSO 34 BASO 2014 will provide a solid platform for them to connect and collaborate with surgical oncologists. However, congress participation can be prohibitive for some due to budget limitations.
