This measure would charge pollution fees on sources of greenhouse gas pollutants and use the revenue to reduce pollution, promote clean energy, and address climate impacts, under oversight of a public board. This measure would require increased background checks, training, age limitations, and waiting periods for sales or delivery of semiautomatic assault rifles; criminalize noncompliant storage upon unauthorized use; allow fees; and enact other provisions. This measure would require law enforcement to receive violence deescalation, mental-health, and first-aid training, and provide first-aid; and change standards for use of deadly force, adding a "good faith" standard and independent investigation. If approved, this proposition would maintain existing service levels for emergency medical care and services, including paramedic services, by authorizing an increase in Everett's emergency medical services property tax levy capacity to the previouslyauthorized rate of fifty cents ($0.50) per one thousand ($1,000) assessed valuation in 2019, and to increase the levy each year thereafter as allowed by Chapter RCW. of Stanwood Proposition. 1 Arlington School District. 16 Proposition. 1 Bonds to Construct and Renovate School Facilities and Improve Security The Board of Directors of Arlington School District. 16 adopted Resolution , concerning a proposition to improve infrastructure, educational opportunities and security. This proposition would authorize the District to: construct a new middle school to replace Post Middle School; make Districtwide security and safety improvements; expand and renovate Arlington High School; make District-wide health, educational and infrastructure improvements; issue no more than $107,500,000 of general obligation bonds maturing within 21 years; and levy annual excess property taxes to repay the bonds, all as provided in Resolution Fire District 15 Proposition. 1 Fire and Emergency Medical Services Property Tax Levy The Board of Snohomish County Fire Protection District. 15 adopted Resolution concerning a proposition to maintain and fund operations, facilities and staffing.
