Limekilns pier pontoons Look in to fitting signs Private FCC members only Stabilising of poles Dinghy moorings There have been incidents of kids playing on the pontoons. Can members be vigilant Poles to be pulled upright Chain weights to be added to pontoons to dampen movement due to wave action Still haphazard. Plan needs to be drawn up to resolve method of mooring. 3 Gabion safety wall Disabled garden entrance Lighting at the bottom of the garden at the steps Crane In Gabions are being sourced for wall Rubble to be cleared prior to River Festival Plans discussed to re-instate gate through wall into garden Write to Estate to seek agreement to just reinstate the wall with a gate. Gap in wall to be covered over for the River Festival Install a PIR and light onto the pole/wall Await supply of sufficient bricks for gabions prior to purchase. Agreed to purchase remaining gabions Cages are now being built up. 7 th June NL NL Gap made to create disabled entrance to garden - with gate Phil has presented a plan to the estate. Response received and Estate suggested lime pointing training. Reply sent with a proposal for onsite training. If not, Phil volunteered to go on training course. Awaiting a response 3

4 Lift plan A lift plan needs to be produced DG Initial draft reviewed To be updated after crane in SGM Voting regarding proposed membership fees A special will be arranged for the end of June according to CC rules plus response by . DG 2 weeks before June Post note 78 members agreed to the Committee s proposal for subscription rates. This was in response to an issued on 1 June. The Committee agreed that due to the large number of agreements that the proposed fees will be adopted. There was therefore no requirement for a special. 4

5 Future of SGM s The Committee agreed that a Spring General Meeting is superfluous to requirements because information on racing and cruising is now discussed at pre season social s and issued to members by and via the website. Amendment to para 7.3 (Meetings) of Constitution to be agreed by Committee for members consideration at the 2017 AGM. Subscriptions 5

6 Subscription renewal process The Committee agreed that subscriptions for the 1 September renewal could be automatically calculated using inflation figures based on the end of June rates. If any increase above inflation is required for any reason a special will be called. Amendment to para 5.1 (Subscriptions) of Constitution to be agreed by Committee for members consideration at the 2017 AGM Data Protection EU directive regarding data privacy Members will have far more rights regarding use of their data. Website - Members only section Subs and boat registration forms Approach RYA to seek their opinion Ian queried whether we could have a members only section on the website for minutes etc Subscription and boat registration renewal forms need KM/DG Awaiting response KM The current website host does not have the facility for a private members only section. There is no requirement at this time to change the website format but will await RYA guidance Prior to the RYA response the Committee will consider which aspects of 6

7 to be modified to ensure the Club complies with all aspects of data protection legislation. data protection legislation needs to be adhered to. New Members Committee to meet new members The Committee wish to at least get to know faces of recently joined new members. They will be invited to an induction get together prior to Committee s. It will also let new members know who we are and who they should approach about various issues. This will be quarterly commencing in August. EB to supply list to for invitations. EB AOCB 7

8 Forth ports Fife Regatta scheduled for 24 June Donation George has attended a at Forth Ports Cancelled due to high winds The Club has recently received a donation for the use of power and water from a non boat owning member GS Notes to be sent out to membership Notes are on the FYCA website No plans to reschedule Club Calendar FCC Regatta George Scrivener & Kathryn Farmer 23 September Pie & Pudding Social Evening tba 7-8 th October Crane out Keith McDevitt 18 November Prize giving and Dinner Dance Leslie Maul & Jenny McNeill?
