3 REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITIZENS OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE Thursday, November 6, 2014 MINUTES I. DINNER Dinner was served at 5:30 p.m. II. CALL TO ORDER The regular meeting of the Mt. San Antonio College Citizens Oversight Committee was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chairperson Michael Zhang. Mr. Zhang introduced the new committee member Jonnatthan Ortez, the Student Organization Representative. APPROVAL OF MINUTES It was moved by Paul Breit and seconded by Mike Shay to approve the minutes of the August 7, 2014, meeting. Motion carried.

PROGRESS REPORT ON MEASURE R, MEASURE RR, AND BAN PROJECTS Gary Nellesen, Director, Facilities Planning and Management, reviewed and explained the spreadsheets provided in the Project Budget Report, dated November 2014, that showed the Measure R, Measure RR, and BAN budgets. Each member was provided a copy. Mr. Nellesen s report will be placed on the College s website with these minutes. VII. SCOPE OF MAJOR PROJECTS IN DESIGN Gary Nellesen, Director, Facilities Planning and Management reviewed the scope of major projects in the Project Budget Report, dated November 14, that showed the Measure R, Measure RR, and BAN budgets. VIII. COMMITTEE MEMBER COMMUNICATION None. IX. CITIZENS OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE MEMBER TERMS Mike Shay (College Advisory Council or Foundation Representative) agreed to serve another term, so his reappointment will go to the College s Board of Trustees on January 14, 2015, to be approved. X. ADJOURNMENT The meeting adjourned at 7:08 p.m. The next meeting will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2015, at 6:00 p.m., in Founders Hall. dl
