Eugene Giovannini, Introduction President, GateWay Community College, AZ Te Honorable Joe Heck (R-NV) US House of Representatives Joe Heck is in is second term representing Nevada s Tird Congressional District in te United States Congress. Heck is only te tird person to old tis seat since its creation. He serves on te Education and Workforce Committee, and te Armed Services Committee, as well as te House Permanent Committee on Intelligence. Dr. Heck as more tan 25 years in public service as a pysician, Army Reservist, and community volunteer. Previously, Heck served as a volunteer firefigter and ambulance attendant, Searc & Rescue team member, and SWAT pysician. A Colonel in te U.S. Army Reserves, e was called to active duty tree times, including a deployment to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
