29 FUTURE FROM THE GROUND FLOOR OTP MESSAGE - NO EXCUSES GETTING AN OLYMPIC MEDAL IS REALLY, REALLY HARD NO SUCH THING AS LUCK YEAR 2 IS SOLIDIFY THE CULTURE OF EXCELLENCE OTP MEASUREMENT STICK: World class technical leadership and world class coaching staff HP plan driven by system and individual athlete gap analysis and mitigation strategies Effective alignment of HP plan to PSOs and clubs World class daily training environment (DTE) and competition structures Evidence-based athlete identification and development system driven by the podium pathway World class integrated support team delivering SSSM services to targeted athletes Organizational commitment and capacity to implement HP plan and to allocate required discretionary funding 29
