3 About After the success of the 2016 National IGF of Peru, this year we reinforce our commitment with the Internet Governance Principles and the enhancement of the Digital Ecosystem. The whole organizational process was conducted in a communication with the IGF Secretariat and in accordance with the main IGF criteria and established procedures, as explained below. I. Contact address: b) The Process: In representation of the 2016 OC, the NGO Hiperderecho organized a Public Meeting in February (2017) to show the results of the 2016 National IGF of Peru. The event was important because it allowed presenting the Final Report of the past IGF and introducing new actors to the Internet Governance. Also because Elaine Ford (Director of Democracia Digital D&D Internacional and Chair of ISOC Peru) was volunteer to lead the initiative in this year. The agenda and the speakers for this edition were defined based on the results of a public poll conducted between May and June of 2017 using the IGF 2016 tools. At the end of the poll 567 votes were counted. Then, OC members defined the agenda and started to invite speakers. Democracia Digital - D&D Internacional, ISOC Peru, Hiperderecho and Red Cientifica Peruana were in charge of the logistics, which

6 c) Description of how the multistakeholder model is maintained: The experience of the 2016 National IGF of Peru was used to improve the participation of new actors and reinforce our commitment with the Internet Governance principles of openness, inclusiveness, non-commercial, and multi-stakeholder participation. The new OC was elected after a Public Meeting with the leadership of Elaine Ford, Director of Democracia Digital D&D Internacional and Chair of ISOC Peru. Using the set of tools of the previous IGF (website, mailing lists, etc.), the OC decided to open a public consultation to define the agenda, the speakers and confirm the participation of the voters at the event. When the public consultation was closed, top issues met in different categories and OC members sent their proposals for speakers, always looking for a balance between stakeholders. As the previous year, the event was open to the public, free of charge and was widely disseminated in digital media. Also, in this edition we had live streaming and offered a lunch service for all the assistants. At the end of the conference, the videos of all the panels were posted on the official website of the event
