How ever considering all those legal issues which have to be addressed in the accession process the realization of EU's accession is bound to be a time-consuming process. 26 Political Participation of European Civil Society Organizations under the Perspective of European Union Governance by Hu A imin As the successful model of regional integration the European U nion offers a favorable testing ground for the practice of governance theory. T he EU is characterized as multilevel system of netw ork governance. T he institutional arrangement of EU governance provides opportunity for political participation of civil society organizations and other parties. M eanw hile w ith the enlargement and deepening of European integration EU -level civil society organizations emerge and develop and are active in many policy fields. They take part in the political process of the EU through various forms and channels. Such political involvement does make difference for European governance. 34 Punching above Its Weight On the History and Features of Canada's Public Diplomacy and Certain Conclusions by Zhang Xiaoyi As a middle pow er Canada's influence in the international arena is magnified by its effective public diplomacy. The present study review s the historic development of Canada's public diplomacy and identifies its three features namely deep root in liberalist values close association w ith domestic public and scattered approach as w ell as the factors that go into the formation of these features. W ith an analysis of the advantages and limitations of the public diplomacy thus featured certain conclusions are draw n about how different countries can effectively implement public diplomacy in general. In the end it is maintained that due to certain new development tendencies of contemporary international politics public diplomacy has become a necessity for all countries in today's w orld. EU trade remedy on China has become the biggest problem facing China and the EU. Different scholars give different interpretations of this issue but most of these interpretations neglected an important fact European interest groups play an important role in EU decision-making process of trade remedy on C hina. In this essay on the basis of introducing EU decision-making system of trade remedy w e discuss different types of European interest groups and their different influence on EU trade remedy decision-making process.
