The data are interval-level, with date, day, tactic, who protests, the target, the agent, event description, linked-dates, time or duration, number of protesters, number of protesters injured, arrested, killed; the number of state agents, the number killed, then injured; source and source date. Countries currently available: Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, German Democratic Republic, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Also available on the website are five historical civil wars: The Archidmanian ( BCE), the U.S. ( ), the Russian ( ), the Irish ( ) and the Spanish ( ). There are data on the May events of France in 1968 as well as links to Latin American and Korean data. Currently we are coding the former Yugoslavia civil wars.
