1 SEPTEMBER 12-13, 2017 HOW TECHNOLOGY IS SHAPING BORDER MANAGEMENT Scenes from 2016 US/Canada Border Conference Where Connections Are Made and Relationships Are Built
2 MISSION On February 4, 2011, President Obama and Prime Minister Harper announced the United States-Canada joint declaration, Beyond the Border: A Shared Vision for Perimeter Security and Economic Competitiveness. Beyond the Border articulates a shared approach to security in which both countries work together to address threats within, at, and away from our borders, while expediting lawful trade and travel. The US/Canada Border Conference brings together local, state, provincial and federal agencies, as well as business organizations, in a central location convenient to both nations, to advance this significant agenda between the United States and Canada. As a sponsor, you have the unique opportunity to meet and network with federal agency leadership from both countries, as well as local, state and provincial law enforcement agencies seeking innovative products, systems, and solutions to advance their mission. ATTENDANCE The Conference attracts senior level government and industry professionals from these organizations. 5 WHO QUALIFIES FOR SPONSORSHIP? US/Canada Border Conference is committed to bringing sellers of products and technologies together with senior leadership and procurement officials. If you are in any of these businesses, you may qualify for a sponsorship. One of the keys that made this a success for us is that it was apparent that this conference is supported by the Homeland Security community specifically the US Government and the Canadian Government. It was a great meeting place for both the customer and the vendor. I met at least 15 representatives from U.S. Customs and Border Protection and Royal Canadian Mounted Police in one day - both SES and GS level men and women. This was the perfect venue for our new product. David Colangelo Chief Marketing Officer, C Speed, LLC Scenes from 2016 US/Canada Border Conference
6 replace copy with this: LOCATION Providing the greatest access to decision-makers means taking the Conference to them, not the other way around. That s why we are returning to Detroit, MI. Its central location between the US and Canada east and west coast ports, and the fact that Detroit is the busiest port of entry for rail and truck traffic between the two nations, makes it the ideal location for the Conference. For networking with senior U.S. and Canadian border security leadership, US/Canada Border Conference is the most cost-effective and productive way to build your brand, make important relationships, and generate leads in this multibillion dollar marketplace! MANAGEMENT Scenes from 2016 US/Canada Border Conference The teams at Clarion create uniquely effective and stimulating environments that can serve as a platform to build your business and enhance customer relationships and experiences. Our events attract buyers with spending and decision-making power who are looking for solutions and innovations to help move their businesses forward.
