Box Nicosia, Cyprus Aim of the meeting: To assist the relevant Stakeholders in the implementation of the Pressure Equipment Directive and to provide discussion forum for matters related to the Directive. The main target audience of the Workshop is participants from new Member States and Candidate Countries. However, the Workshop is open to other interested parties as well.

In these four groups, there will be three interventions followed by discussion. Participants are encouraged to exchange experiences and opinions. Every working group will run twice. There will be three parallel groups in the morning, three in the afternoon and two on Wednesday morning, so that every participant can register in three different groups.) 09:00 WORKING GROUP 3 The imminent challenges in and the future of the pressure equipment legislation and its implementation During this session participants will discuss the raison d être and the future development of guidelines, and will reflect on the direction to be taken and areas to be covered at an impending revision of the Pressure Equipment Directive.
