This event is expected to bring up the spirit of new civilization based on the principles of luru ilmu (studying) and liru kawruh (learning) through cultural approach in Yogyakarta Special Region. Scouts can feel, learn and appreciate the various customs and traditions through traditional games, culinary, arts, and various local wisdom as well as cultural, natural and educational tourism Jogja International Scout Camp (JISC). The event will be held on 3 rd -8 th September 2018 in Rama-Shinta Camping Ground of Prambanan Temple Yogyakarta. There will be overseas 4,500 Rovers and Senior Rovers of Indonesia and also abroad expected. Therefore, we invite the Scouts form many National Scout Organizations (NSO) to participate in this event. The details of the participants for each NSO are as follows: Participant from Rovers and Senior Rovers 4 umpi (@ 6 person) : 24 persons Group Leader : 2 persons Contingent Management Team (CMT) : 2 persons Each person is charged U$ 200 for camp fee include home stay and tent, foods & drinks, transportation base on event, tour package, event package, kits (handbook, waist bag, ID card and letter of appreciation) and also attributes (T-shirt, hat, scarf, and badges). 3 The participants of each NSO are expected to perform an art performance and prepare a booth for NSO exhibition (traditional culinary, traditional clothes, etc.). 4 Basic Information of Jogja International Scout Camp 2018 The framework of Jogja International Scout Camp (JISC) is to improve of quality of Scouting in middle of community also keep environment in stabilize or equality. This event aims to provide an experiencial learning process to create mutual understanding and mutual benefit with cultural exchange activities from across regions and countries as framed in sister city cooperation between Special Region of Yogyakarta with several cities in several countries. Another purpose is to facilitate the exchange of experience, idea, and knowledge, so that it could inspire and motivate the participants to understand each other and build a better world. For those purposes, "Jogja International Scout Camp" which will be held at Prambanan Temple Complex, Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia in 3 rd to 8 th September 2018 will involve the participants in community live with home stay system in five regencies (sub camps). The participants will learn about art and culture, handicraft, local wisdom include traditional food, traditonal game and mores. They, together with the community, will also be able to experience, learn, and inspire a variety of cultures, custom, and tradition. Language English Most of the activities of Jogja International Scout Camp 2018will be conducted in English; although we will have interpreters we still believe that participants who know English are more preferable. Arrival and Participant are expected to arrive at the Adi Sucipto International Airport and Departure Yogyakarta (Tugu) Station on 1 st September 2018 and may leave on 9 th September Climate The temperature in September in Yogyakarta, Indonesia varies between 23 0 C and 28 0 C. VISA Citizens of some countries will require valid visa to enter Indonesia. Thus, all participants should obtain an entry visa before traveling to Indonesia and can ccousult their local tracel advice service. Voltage Electric current available with 220 volts. May be some country will need an adaptor or transformer. Time GMT +07:00 Indonesia West Time Mobile Phones GSMM mobile phones operate in the 900 MHz or 1800 MHz ferquency band. Anti-smoking and Smoking and alcohol is banned in all closed public and work premises, including Alcohol Law catering and accomodation establishments.
