10 Adopted Standards Open Geospatial Consortium ( GML: it defines a xml language, by which geo-data can be described WMS: it defines the protocol through which the applications interrogate raster-map servers WFS: it defines the protocol through which the applications interrogate vector-map servers WSI The S.I.T.R. services will be achieved through a composition of web-services INSPIRE expected Directive It will provide common rules for the EU Countries ISO and The geographic informations will be documented by the ISO standard for the Metadata, and will be published according the ISO profile.
