Requirements for Partner Government Agency Information in ACE & Methods for Submission

1 United States government agencies with a role in trade are working together to meet the White House Executive Order mandating Single Window completion by As part of this effort, CB is transitioning core trade processing capabilities into the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE). In order to reach the 2016 deadline, CB has established a timeline to facilitate mandatory filing of all electronic entries and their corresponding entry summaries in ACE. Beginning November 1, 2015 a transition period will begin for electronic entry and entry summary filings in ACE. On February 28, 2016 ACE must be used for filing of all electronic entries and associated entry summaries. In addition, electronic FDA, NHTSA, AHIS (Lacey) data must be filed in ACE. Upon publication of a Final Rule (currently estimated by the end of July 2016), filers must use ACE to file data for AMS, AHIS Core, ATF, CDC, DCMA, DDTC, DEA, E&C, EA, FSIS, FWS, NMFS and TTB. Upon publication of the Final Rule, hybrid submissions, i.e., those that are a combination of electronically submitted information and paper forms, will no longer be accepted. What follows is a list of agency forms or data elements required at time of entry or entry summary. Tables group the forms and data requirements by required filing date, associated agency, program/commodity, and includes related status for pilots, working groups, and technical documentation. The tables also identifies whether the forms will be submitted via the GA Message Set or Document Image System (DIS). To transmit required data, filers must adhere to the GA Message set chapter of CB and Trade Interface Requirements (CATAIR). Any agency specific requirements are captured through supplemental implementation guides (IGs).
