Forum Venue The venue of the forum is the Yaounde Conference Centre 2. Visa Foreign participants require a valid passport and an entry visa to Cameroon. Visas can be obtained at the Cameroon embassy or consulate of your country of residence. Where there is no diplomatic representation, visas could be obtained at the port of entry in Yaounde or Douala, for a fee of CFA 50,000 (about 79 euros). Holders of diplomatic or service passports are exempt of this fee. For further information, contact:

Transport Participants shall be met at the Douala and Nsimalen (Yaounde) International Airports by a team from the Organizing Committee and conveyed to their hotels, free of charge. Participants who would want to stay the night in Douala shall bear the cost incurred thereof and transportation to Yaounde. The bus fare from Douala to Yaounde costs CFA 5000 (about 8 euros) Transportation shall be available for participants from hotels to the Forum venue. 4. Working Languages The working languages for the forum shall be French, English and Portuguese. Arrangements have been made for simultaneous interpretation. 5. Health - A valid vaccination card against yellow fever shall be required at the port of entry; - Participants shall be medically covered during the forum; - Participants are advised to take a preventive anti-malaria treatment. 6. Currency The CFA franc is the local currency and has a fixed parity with the euro: 1 euro = FCFA US dollar = about FCFA 443 (fluctuating) - The dollar and euro are accepted in most hotels. - Some credit cards (Visa, American Express Diners, Master CB) are accepted in some hotels. - Exchange can be carried out in some hotels or banks. - Traveler s checks could be very useful.

3 7. Airport tax Travelers leaving Cameroon are expected to pay an airport tax of FCFA 10,000 at the port of exit.
