28 Water Services Stubs will be provided for dwellings without existing plumbing Services will primarily be 1-inch, and Meters will be provided Seasonal properties will require winterization

30 Private Wells Recently passed City ordinance allows the use of existing wells for irrigation purposes Cross connections must be eliminated Those wells that do not meet well code setbacks to the proposed sanitary facilities will be abandoned as part of this project

31 Private Wells Wells that do meet the well code setbacks can be abandoned as part of this project if requested by the owner. Future abandonment will be at the owner s sole expense.

32 Minnesota: Mankato Faribault Street and Drainage Improvements

33 Street and Drainage Improvements Public streets will be paved but will remain a rural section as a cost savings measure Wheaton Drive and Clydette Drive will remain private and will be gravel surfaced Minor drainage improvements incidental to the road improvements will be included

34 Construction of Lift Stations Construction Sequencing Generally, Contractor will be given flexibility in terms of sequencing Would expect at least two utility crews Temporary Water will be provided to minimize service interruption

35 Construction Sequencing Contract to likely include a stipulation limiting road excavations to approximately 28 days Paving likely to occur Spring 2015
