Community Outreach Committee presented by Mary Gonzalez The Outreach Committee will be working with Woven Life during the month of November to decorate the tree in the Library Atrium. On December 6, the Committee will host the annual tree lighting ceremony with the Provost and Santa. Woven Life will be attending this event. c. Employee of the Month Committee presented by Leslee Smith Our October Employee of the Month was Richard Gullotto, Access Control with the OUS Police Department. Her reception will be held on Thursday, November 30 at 2:50 p.m. in the Cell Biology Conference room, BMSB 553. As always, we are in need of nominations. If you see someone who is deserving of this recognition please submit their name for nomination. d. Employee Recognition Committee presented by LaDonna Tyner The Employee Recognition Ceremony did not meet in October however; the committee is scheduled to meet later this month in November. e. Special Projects Committee presented by Carol Clure As always, share any new ideas for Special Projects that you may have. Please help support our fundraisers as they help to support things like Staff Week and many other campus activities. f. Staff Week Committee presented by Kelli Dyer The Staff Week committee didn t meet this month g. Shared Leave Committee Will continue to Promote Power of the Hour. Please continue to share information about how much donating even 1 hour of your shared leave will help. V. Unfinished Business None VI. New Business None VII. Announcements Presented by Carol Clure Christmas tree lighting will be December 6 immediately following the Staff Senate meeting. Congratulations to one of our own Senators, Carly Nguyen, for being the October OU Fit Star! Congrats Carly! Our Alumni will be hosting Bedlam Saturday at the Jones Center, 901 W. Sheridan, 3:00 p.m. Kickoff. Come on out and root for your Team. For all or our Artsy people on campus, there is a Showcase your Talent Display on the 3 rd floor of the Library. If interested you may contact Kristi Kohl at Kristi-kohl@ouhsc.edu. There will be a Veterans Day Luncheon Thursday November 9, 12:00 1:00 p.m. SU Room 262. VIII.
